Oh, and party I did. I was watching 60s Doctor Who and didn't even notice it pass midnight.

Which is good, because it means I somehow didn't notice the usual sound of fireworks and dogs barking at said fireworks. It's a new year miracle!

That's the thing. Thousands probably died in 2016. But less than 50 were famous so obviously 2016 is a mass murdering psycho year. .

Tell me about it. While we got one more day off, I can't help but think non stop about how quick this vacation was. Time is flying by so welcome 2017. While I hear lots about how people say 2016 sucked, it sure as hell did not for me. I had a great year and look forward to another one.

At least getting back into a routine isn't too bad today; the boss is out til next week and because the majority of businesses remained closed today to honor the holiday, there isn't a while lot going on so we can kind of ease back into it.

It was still horrible to leave my house this morning, waving to my family. Miss them so much when I'm at work.
