Imagine if they went Pink Floyd on us with how the concerts are going to be done . . . with all the special effects, theatrics, Giant Pigs (or Nomacs in this case) . . . wouldn't that be amazing?!

That would be amazing.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Especially if the NOMAC were in giant pig costumes.

Looks great. I'm afraid everything I've seen for this album is too close to the hunger games. Well hopefully DT will have a better ending

I don't know if others immediately realized this and I just missed it, but those circular things on the bottom of the NOMACs (lowercase "s") appear to be the speakers from which they broadcast their free thought-suppressing drone-noise all over civilization.

I would give both my kidneys and one of my lungs to see an actual FULL SIZED NOMAC.

Why this hasn't been Octavarium's actual album cover? I love it!

And I want a Nomac toy to place on my desk or something  ;D
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

I'm so excited about new DT music, all this stuff got me so pumped that I went through their discography twice during the last 2 weeks and now that I'm out I'm branching out to British DT and Norwegian DT, good times!

Yeah... I wouldn't get too excited about this saying.
As previously mentioned here, almost every band says it about almost every album they release.

I know, but just think about it, this really looks like they may not be telling empty words this time
I just have that feeling

And about the artwork, I really like it. That art from upper half of theastonishing webpage was a bit better IMO, but it may not fit to be the album art
I'll dare to say this is my favourite dt artwork after Awake and Systematic Chaos

I'm telling you, NOMAC hotel.

Cool artwork huh? I love it. Everything about this record is awesome.

So you remember back on page 49 I asked what question you'd ask the band right now if you could? And some folks posted some? (Thanks for that) As it happens I ran a press day with 3 of DT today and included some time to put a few of those questions to them! Answers to come. It was also much fun having dinner with them this eve when the cover was revealed and reading them some of the comments!  :D

GORGEOUS album cover, easily the best one since SFAM. And I was hoping they weren't gonna put Dream Theater PRESENTS The Astonishing.  :tup

This one is my favorite of the bunch. Nice view out an airplane window, and there's a lot to look at.

The album cover looks great :) No complaints at all here. it turns out that the first image we ever saw of the NOMAC has become the focal point for the cover. Can't wait to have this beautiful imagery in my CD collection.
