I understand completely. I'm awful with remembering names, no matter how many times I've heard it. I often have to go through the alphabet, and thinking of the letter will help trigger my memory.

We are going to Grandfather Mountain. It is 5,946 feet above sea level. Not tall by standards of the Rockies, but it's the highest peak on the eastern escarpment of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Closer to Asheville, NC is Mount Mitchell (6,684 feet above sea level), the highest point east of the Mississippi.

I couldn't even say it myself.

Khan is a much better movie in nearly every way.

However I enjoy Into Darkness *way* more than the final two TNG movies.

So I got a call from the owner of the company today... (Surprised me to hear from him at 930AM on a Holiday..)

He had remembered my raise request...

And called to tell me that it's a go... (which I already knew)

And told me how much. More than I expected (Which still isn't much but for someone making just above CA Minimum Wage... it helps).

And he told me I am finally getting a company email address. THIS excites me.

I spend so little time in P/R (ie. basically none) that it doesn't even show up in my stats. Arguing musical opinions on DTF is enough to make me want to bang my head against the wall most of the time, let alone religious/political opinions.

True, but the fact it's not supposed to be funny actually makes it worse in many cases there. The few times I do venture into P/R, there are always multiple posts that would make me do a spit take if it weren't so alarming that people actually thought that way (and due to my policy of avoiding P/R, I won't say what opinions cause that reaction

).
