I've been thinking about this recently :

When a band is well known - fans will usually always pay up for their latest release. But if you're not well known ( me for instance ) - people for some reason have no interest in paying for your music.

Even if they love it. It's so bizarre.

Well, I have a 3-day weekend.

This afternoon, a cruise-in in a neighboring town (lots of classic cars, live music, great food, alchohol), then a firepit night at a neighbor's house (chill time, wince).

Tomorrow after church, my brother is coming for a visit, which will in some ways involve beer, cigars, grilling some form of dead animal, and various and sundry other vices.

Monday, a drive to the mountains for some scenic shit.

Goin on a road trip today. I won a weekend "rental" of a Lincoln MKC at a fund-raiser last month for $100, so we're gonna do a couple of little road trips today/tomorrow. jingle.son and I were at Fan Expo yesterday... crazy busy as usual (pics tomorrow or Monday), though the event wasn't as good as previous years.

Hey Guys. Not a bad day at work. Irish comedian Sean Hughes came in for lunch because he's playing at our theatre this evening.

I recognised him but I totally forgot what his name was until someone asked him.

He used to be on " Never Mind The Buzzcocks ".
