My download this week didn't include the preview at the end. I don't think I want to know anything about it though. I'll just let it all come as a surprise!

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Yup. Basically call outs go to whoever is available at the time to deal with it. If there is one of the supervisors on shift... they handle it. If not, pray that you aren't the person that the person calling out randomly selects. The employee who called out is actually a great employee (At least I think so...) and knew that I'd be up and on my way to work, and wanted to let me know early (9 hours in advance) vs the 2-4 hours people usually give us (we ask for 4...)

I got it handled though. We have a filler who is hungry for hours and is actually available this weekend... and gladly took it.

Scratch what I said in my previous post. Filler wound up not coming in. I stayed till 730p. That's 12.5 hours... 13.5 if you count the time I got the call about needing coverage to the time I finally left work.

I hate Mondays in general, but I'm really hating this one. I didn't have a weekend. Victoria and I hosted mother's day. We literally didn't see each other Saturday. She prepped food all day and I did a good 9-10 hours of yard work. On Sunday, we both woke up at 5:30. She cooked right up until 1 and I cleaned every inch of the house. About 35 hours of work between us to entertain people for four hours.
