Haha, It's so muggy over here too. It's awful. I live right by the lake too so it's noisy with all the bugs and shit

Yeah, that sucks. I can handle a dry heat, but once it gets humid, it gets unbearable. And the last thing I need in weather like that is noisy-ass bugs reminding me how hot it is!

Speaking of the lake, I haven't caught anything. I almost caught this huge catfish the other day, but as I was bringing him from the water to the boat, he broke free. With the bait, of course.

I've only fished a couple of times, back when I was maybe 11 or 12. Obviously not something you'd imagine me doing now.

I only used one of those hand reel thingies too (can't remember the name, but it's just a large spool for the fishing line). I once caught a flathead that we ate later along with the two others that my dad and brother caught.

I don't fish as much as I should. The lake is right behind my house and I haven't been putting that to use. Lately, I've gone down there with my Dad though. Even if you don't catch anything, it's fun. As long as the bugs aren't too bad. We usually don't catch anything worth cooking honestly, our side of the lake is kinda shallow and it gets a bit dirty anyway. I still love going down there though.

Doing some assistant work at a local Native American museum until Octobre when I start with uni.

Currently translating the flyers to English. It's not quite as boring as it sounds.

True. I shouldn't complain. It's only until Octobre and the hours are pretty leisurely (9 to 4.30, half an hour lunchbreak included).
