Haha.

I use 10 - 52  :coolio

Me too  :hat I like how the low strings sound very full, and also  still sound good when turned down to drop b.

.52 works fine, the string doesn't hang or anything. Karnivool use .52 too and they have their lowest strings tuned to drop b on most songs and they sound amazing

Hey sometimes I use regular slinkys for AADGBe

They don't sound that floppy but I have to be careful recording or the low E string will slip off the neck :lol

But my local guitar shop doesn't stock 10-52s

Can't you just order them online? For me it's even cheaper than buying it in the local music shop.

(Excuses for detailing the thread  :\ )

I assumed such an event would have resulted in at least one person pulling out their phone, so I googled "seagulls chips train".

This was the first result;
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3429358/The-seagulls-train-story-hoax-came-joke-told-late-Maurie-Fields-Hey-Hey-s-Saturday-20-YEARS-ago.html

You're all so gull-ible: The 'seagulls on the train' story that swept Facebook is a hoax - and came from a joke told by the late Maurie Fields on Hey Hey It's Saturday 25 YEARS ago

Quote
A story of a man who lured a frenzied pack of seagulls onto a busy train with a bag of fish and chips took the internet by storm earlier this week.
The man was apparently sitting at Frankston Railway Station in Melbourne feeding a flock of about 15 to 20 seagulls his chips before suddenly launching the food into the train carriage just as the doors were closing and causing chaos.
The story was shared by Melbourne man Chris Harrigan who posted it to Facebook on Monday afternoon before it was picked up and shared by many other users.
But it turns out the viral sensation was nothing more than a standard joke from back in 1989 by the late Australian comedian Maurie Fields on the popular 'Hey Hey It's Saturday' television program.

Of course it's fake. Even if something is a stone cold, provable fact, it's still fake by merit that it's on the internet. The internet itself is fake. We're in the Matrix, bech.

Still a hilarious thought.

Can someone explain to me why these type of things are always really shitty quality? It's not difficult to make words on a jpg and have it be clear, so I assume it's something that's done on purpose. Facebook is full of these types of posts that look like someone printed it out, scanned, it, then reduced the quality before posting.

Because of artistic expression. For the same reason. This

is considered the pinnacle of high art.
