Yeah, sadly the exposure is in America, where they have already played 35000 gigs. :/

To really small crowds, sure.

Small gigs > no gigs.
Besides, personally I prefer a smaller gig over a 50k capacity stadium, but I doubt the same goes for the band.

Well at this point it seems like the band struggles to break even when they tour. The more exposure they can get the better. I doubt this is going to help them get a European tour going but whatever helps them out.

I think more than anything it's just important because its a sign that they're continuing to steadily grow as a band.  Just another small step in their upward climb.

Yeah, as much as it sucks for Europe right now they have to look at American growth as a great thing. Usually good music flails and dies here, with them gaining more and more traction here it can only be seen as inevitable until Europe catches on and they gain some ground over there.

Mad scientist thought of the day: what if someone created some downloadable iTunes visualizations that were color-themed and could be used while listening to the EPs? *drools*

Progress would be slightly hard to play live I think. So sounds awesome that they did. :P
Anyhow, The Collapse of the Great Tide Cliffs sounds like a fantastic way to close the show.  :tup

Note that this is an acoustic tour featuring Casey and Connor only, not the full band.  So obviously these are heavily reworked versions of the songs.

Skip class, hang out at the venue early, find Casey and ask him politely to get you in.  :)

Btw - I was a bit off before... It's Casey, Connor AND Rob.  Not just Casey and Connor.

Any of you going to this are from now on forbidden from expressing any kind of joy or excitement in this thread. It makes those of us not going extremely jealous.

If it makes you feel any better I'm much closer and won't be able to go because I'll be graduating that weekend.

Why a Wednesday? That really sucks. Would have been worth making the trip if it was on a weekend. Probably not worth taking a day off work for it.

Had this been in the NYC area I probably would have gone, but I'm not a big enough fan of them or of TCS to make a trip all the way to Boston for it. It'll be really awesome though for those of you that go, enjoy it!
