God this thread reads like a "who's who" of people I miss.
OMG THIS! This thread has more ghosts than a Steven Wilson album.
I guess this thread was during my busy grad school days when I wasn't posting so I missed it, but there is some really interesting and ridiculous stuff in here.
A few points:
-Anyone who says there is no physical element is lying or blind. Of course looks are going to draw you to somebody, but personality usually determines the nature/length of the encounter with said person.
Of course I'm more likely to pursue a guy I'm physically attracted to, but if he turns out to be a dick I won't stick around (well, maybe for a little fun
).
-Many of the men (and women) I've been into, I wasn't initially attracted to, but they grew on me when I got to know them.
-Obesity is not healthy, but that doesn't mean fat women can't be beautiful and should be lectured on losing weight
... Trust me, they already know they're fat. God forbid they get some lovin', too.
-On that note, when it comes to a "type" I don't REALLY have one. I've been with/attracted to allll types of men and women. In general I've leaned towards brown hair/eyes on both, tall guys and curvier women, but I really don't discriminate.

I miss Jackie in every thread, in the laughter of every child, in the gentle caress of the breeze upon a grove of flowers, in the fizzy sort of plopping sound of beer spilt onto a hardwood floor, in the dissertation of every book that goes awry, and in that feeling that you get when you think you're falling out of bed but then you jolt yourself awake and discover that you're in the middle of the bed and not even close to any of the edges, and whoa, wasn't that weird? It's been, like, a year since that last happened.
