Hmm, this combined with that earlier clip gives me much hope for this album. I really hope there is a display of what they've learned throughout each album on this album-- a combination of the best things from each: the heaviness of WTF, the progressive/thrash-y approach to COE, the experimentation on various songs on the S/T, and the emotional quality of the songs from Nightmare. They are a standout in modern mainstream metal, and as such I really do believe they're going to take some risks and produce something fantastic.

Also, they've been hinting at various things around the internet-- one of these things being a possible concept album. They've wanted to do that for a while, so I'd be thrilled to hear their take on one.

There are so many lazy outs taken on that cover that it's ridiculous. Like, as an artist, I literally find so many things about the cover to be poor. However, it reminds me of City of Evil, which was a cover that was also a bit over the top (or Iron Maiden-y) so I'm still hopeful for the music.

Well they're huge Maiden fans. I always thought they had a lot of Maiden in them from the beginning. Maiden is my favorite band so I'm ok with this.

I'm not a fan of the 'smooth,' almost detail-less style and the colors used. Just kinda grates.

OTOH, City of Evil had a very cartoony cover, but it had a cool kinda style to it that made it work rather well.

Definitely, thier cover of Flash of the Blade is pretty good.

In terms of the album cover, I think the art work is OK, but the album title is pretty lame. If you are going to hail to the king, this album better be fucking amazing.
