Ok, now I got it ;)

Sì scusa Marco, non riesco a spiegarmi come abbia fatto a dimenticarmi di dirtelo prima...  :sadpanda:

Sorry Marco, i can't explain how i managed to forget to share this news with you...

Ma figurati! Il segreto è durato solo qualche ora! :D

Nevermind, the secret lasted only a couple of hours. :)

If the return to the "evening with" format hadn't been confirmed yet, here would be another clue - 8 PM is a really early showtime for a concert in Finland (even on Monday) and last time DT started playing at 9 PM (also a Monday date).

Oh God I need to see this tour.

YES!

Wrong band. But I hope they continue this on the US tour. If not, and it's just a 2 hour show, I will still be happy. 2 hours is still pretty awesome, and if the opener is a band I like (please Haken please), all the better! :)

As Croatia is acceding to the European Union, a huge concert promotion agency has given a 50% discount for ticket sales to their concerts during the first week of membership in the EU (1st-7th July). And yes, DT is listed!!!! Ticket price down from 33 to 16,50€  :lol

?

^Goddammit, I just had to pay 3 times the same amount of money for my ticket to Helsinki!

:o  You. I will pay almost four time as much! No discount for trustworthy countries?  :-[

Well unfortunately not. I can though imagine that if a DT concert was scheduled in Palermo, it would surely (according to the economy-related pricelist) be sensibly cheaper than in Milano or Roma, right?  :lol ;)

wasteland

It wouldn't be. Some regions are quite richer than others, true, but prices are the same everywhere in Italy :D

That's awesome.

I'm a little confused. While some "Evening With" shows have been over 3 hours, some have been 3 hours including intermission. And if intermission is 15 minutes, that makes it no more than 5 minutes longer than the 2hr 40min shows that happened on the last leg of the ADTOE tour, and I think also happened on the CiM tour right? The only thing really added is an intermission?

I think the guys have said this tour they're doing something like two 90 minute sets, which would mean a 3 hour show plus intermission. But could someone with more DT concerts under their belt clarify- what is the minimum and maximum time for the "Evening With" format?

And btw I'm happy with ANY of this.. I mean so many bands do 90 minutes and barely change their set, so I'm ridiculously excited for this tour, however they do it.

They sometimes do longer shows that aren't in the "Evening With" format, although many were also shorter too, closer to 2 hours. At the very least, the Evening With format guarantees that everywhere will be getting the longer shows, without an opening act eating into the possible time.
And even without the intermission, these shows will be close to 3 hours, and about half an hour or more longer than the average.

That's the case with Megadeth nowadays. I went to see them last month, and while it was still a great show, they barely played for 90 minutes, and the set list was exactly the same as every other night.

This will be my first time seeing DT with the "Evening with" format.  :)
