I enjoy parts of ANTR. TSF, OTOH, is just a mess of a song.

Why do you people don't like TDEN? Or why you choosing it as the worst, even if you still thinking that is a kick ass song I'm just curious, it's a good song, it has all the shredding, all the madness, metrum changes, maybe JP's solo is weird a little, but it's good enough.

Personally I dislike the lyrics, the vocal melodies and it's just uninteresting. It has a couple of nice riffs but it's not enough to make me ever want to listen to it.

I&W - Wait For Sleep - I don't what it is but this song never goes anywhere and thus feels a bit boring.
Awake - Space Dye Vest - Hands down, the most OVERRATED DT song ever. It's not really bad but almost everyone seems to be praising this to death and I just can't understand it. It's not THAT good. It's actually quite boring.
FII -You Not Me - No comment, I think everyone understands.
SFAM - Through Her Eyes - Not a bad song at all, it's actually quite good but being on SFAM and everything, it has alot to compete against.
SDOIT - Disappear - Again, a tough choice as I really like Six Degrees but If I had to single out a track, it had t be this one.
TOT - Stream Of Consciousness - One of my absolute least favorite DT songs. A 10-minute instrumental that goes absolutely nowhere and is not interesting in any way.
8V - These Walls - Just an incredibly bland track.
SC - Forsaken - Has a bit of the "These Walls" syndrome to it, a bland track that I can't put my finger on, it's just there and does nothing.
BCSL - A Rite Of Passage - I like the chorus but the verses and the following instrumental section are really dull and feels very stock.

I&W - Take The Time - I'm so sorry, I know people will be like "WHAAT?", but yeah, I don't find myself ever putting this song on unless it comes on by itself.
Awake - Can't quite bring myself to say anything negative about any song on this album, as I consider it a masterpiece. Will have to go with The Silent Man, but by a very very small margin. I could've lived without this song, tbh, because it breaks the relentless metalness of the album.
FII - Again, really hard to choose as I like all the songs. Going to have to go with New Millennium, again by a small margin.
SFAM - Through My Words. It's good, but it's a transition song, so it can't really compete against the others.
SDOIT - Goodnight Kiss. Don't like it very much at all, it meanders along forever and is just not very exciting.
TOT - Again, solid album with good songs. I'm going to have to go with Endless Sacrifice. I like it, but it's the odd one out on this heavy rocking album.
8V - I Walk Beside You. Blech. Octavarium is where the albums all start having songs I genuinely dislike. I don't like These Walls and The Answer Lies Within that much either.
SC - Quite like this album. Going to have to go with Forsaken, it's a bit bland.
BCSL - This is a pretty meh album to me. Going to have to go with The Best of Times. I understand the context and concept, but... I've never listened to it again since the album came out. Too much repetition, and suffers from Roger Waters/The Final Cut Syndrome. I don't like lyrics that are incredibly direct and narrative, a bit of subtlety or metaphor/symbolism would've improved it. But bland lyrics combined with bland repetitive music makes this song one of my all time least favorite DT tracks. But I understand what it's for, so I guess it warrants it. Petrucci wrote Another Day about the death/illness of a loved one, and it was so much better lyrically, and so much more moving. A Change of Seasons tackles a similar subject, and was written by MP, but once again the lyrics are awesome and subtle. Don't know what happened along the way. This song describes kind of what I hate about post 8V DT.

Yes....Those are my least favorites on a per album basis. I don't hate the songs. It probly has more to do with the fact that I've been listening to them for so long. Favorites come and go for me.

For example, I absolutely loathed "The Count of Tuscany" when I first heard it. Now I give it an 8 out of 10
