Awake - The Silent Man (Still Like It)
FII - Take Away My Pain (Always Skip It)
SFAM - The Dance Of Eternity (Usually Skip It)
SDOIT - War Inside My Head (Sometimes Skip)
TOT - Vacant (Always Skip)
Octavarium - I Walk Beside You (Skip it before it even starts)
SC - Dark Eternal Night (Still Like It)
BCASL - The Shattered Fortress (Skip It)

Images & Words - Another Day (for some reason the sax bothers me, otherwise I like this song)
Awake - Innocence Faded (Probably one of the worst DT songs, IMO)
Falling Into Infinity - You Not Me (Same as above)
Scenes From a Memory - Regression (only because it's so short, since I love every song on the album)
Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence - Misunderstood
Train of Thought - As I Am
Octavarium - I Walk Beside You
Systematic Chaos - Prophets of War (Worst modern DT song, IMO)
Black Clouds & Silver Linings - Wither

I do enjoy most of these songs, though.

But the sax adds so much to that song, it's amazing! Also, Innocence Faded is my 9th favourite Dream Theater song, so hearing someone rank it so low appalls me.

Awake - I can't seem to pick one. Awake has never been one of my favourite albums, but I've always thought it was very consistent, all the songs are of a similar quality for me

BC&SL - Wither

That was tougher than I thought. I don't skip any of them if I'm listening to the album.

I&W - Under A Glass Moon (easiest choice for me)
Awake - The Mirror or CIAW. IF is saved by the solo.
FII - burning my Soul or JLMB
SFAM - Home (though it's still very good)
6DOIT - Blind Faith (again still a great track)
ToT - HTF
Octavarium - Answer Lies Within-nothing greatly wrong just a bit boring.
SC - The Dark Eternal Night (worst DT song ever but Repentence is close)
BC&SL - ARoP (hate the Bebot solo)

6. 6DOIT - 6DOIT (I just don't dig it as one song, I do think that About To Crash and About To Crash reprise would be top 10 material for me as a stand alone song.)

I&W - Wait For Sleep/Pull Me Under (both great songs, still smash pretty much anything else)
Awake - Space Dye Vest (not a DT song)
FII - You Not Me
SFAM - Through Her Eyes (similar to I&W, although the vocals get a bit tedious + not fair to hate on regression)
SDOIT - The Great Debate (lyrics)
ToT - Endless Sacrafice (drags a bit, still great)
8VM - Never Enough (veiled stab at your fan base is never on IMO)
SC - Prophets of War
BC&SL - A Rite of Passage (too wanky)

7. TOT - Vacant, just because i love the metal stuff on this song so much...but vacants is aslo damn cool.

it's great to see all the different opions on this one, i see under a glass moon a few times, which for me is one of the most briliant songs DT ever created. still with all the shreeding JP has done over the last decade the solo in this song is picture perfect, best solo ever, uncoverable (even the ones on youtube, miss the swung, the vibe, it's just the notes in the correct order)...it has got shreds, sweeps, blues, jazz everything...

Wow. We're pretty close to the same. I chose Regression on SFAM because it's so short. And Wait For Sleep because I was forced to pick something. I wonder if our favorites would end up being the same.

Without meaning to pick up a fight or something, I was wondering why some of you chose Glass Prison as the least favorite song out of 6DOIT. I mean, that song is plainly amazing in my opinion. I dunno, it was the first song of DT that I ever heard and I believe it is the best thing since Chuck Norris

I didn't pick TGP but I also don't rate it as highly as others. My reasons are, I don't like it whenever they do some crappy distortion of James' voice. Also the whole breakdown riff section is so over-rated and I can think of 1000 heavier and better riffs. Lastly I don't like how the last half of the instrumental section goes on forever. Part 3 of the song is the best and should have been expanded.

No and yes. For me isn't overrated, it just fits, maybe it isn't so shredly awesome, but it kicks ass perfectly
