Just got back from the show! Qualms with the setlist aside, the show was very good, though there were a couple disappointments.
First of all, the sound was VERY bad. Steve was generally audible, but Nicko's kit (particularly his cymbals) was very quiet. Meanwhile, the guitars all sort of blended together in a midrange mess. Besides this, the whole thing was way too loud. Ears are still ringing pretty badly.
Also, as Bruce explained to us, the stage was simply too small to fit one of the Eddies (Youtube tells me the one when didn't see was the Seventh Son Eddie with the pen). The stage show was fantastic otherwise (I probably wouldn't have even noticed had Bruce not brought it up), but it bums me out that we didn't get the full show because of the venue, especially since tomorrow's show in Chicago will be complete and is much closer to me than Milwaukee.
Still, Maiden is Maiden, and it was a great gig. Up the irons.
