Alice Cooper was surprisingly good.   :hat
No surprise there. Alice is fantastic. In the TAC Top 5.
He did a good job of building his set for a Maiden crowd.

So a good bud went to the show and was blown away by both bands.  he never saw Alice and loved it and he's a big Maiden fan and said they were outstanding.  I'm pissed I couldn't go.  Damn managers meetings.

Headbanging around 10,000+ guys in 100 degree heat for four hours....

AWESOME

Alice Cooper kicked all sorts of ass. I feel bad for the people who have to listen to Claudio's gay voice instead of seeing the opener of the year.

And Afraid to Shoot Strangers was a pretty awesome curveball :metal

That's some bait hanging off the hook right there.

It's floating in the water looking tantalizing.

I want to bite it, but I'm a smart fishie, and I know better.

All of this happy Alice Cooper talk is making me smile. Bands that take him out as an opener do so at their own risk. Iron Maiden is probably the lone exception.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I was at the Holmdel 2010 show, while I had fun, I felt it was the worst of the 7 shows I've seen them. The crowd was dead and was also empty for DT (a sign of what will come of them playing there next week)

Just got back from the show! Qualms with the setlist aside, the show was very good, though there were a couple disappointments.

First of all, the sound was VERY bad. Steve was generally audible, but Nicko's kit (particularly his cymbals) was very quiet. Meanwhile, the guitars all sort of blended together in a midrange mess. Besides this, the whole thing was way too loud. Ears are still ringing pretty badly.

Also, as Bruce explained to us, the stage was simply too small to fit one of the Eddies (Youtube tells me the one when didn't see was the Seventh Son Eddie with the pen). The stage show was fantastic otherwise (I probably wouldn't have even noticed had Bruce not brought it up), but it bums me out that we didn't get the full show because of the venue, especially since tomorrow's show in Chicago will be complete and is much closer to me than Milwaukee. :lol

Still, Maiden is Maiden, and it was a great gig. Up the irons. :tup :metal

I went to the NJ show on Monday and it was awesome. I was about 5 rows in (GA so that's approximate) and i thought the set list was very repetitive of SBiT but overall was pretty good. Got to see three songs I haven't seen before which for a non album tour is pretty good for IM.

Also, Alice Cooper was awesome.

Was at the show in Montreal, and didn't really have access to a computer until now.
Holy shit that was an amazing show! I mean, I knew it would be, but wow!

It was my second time seeing Alice Cooper (first time was when he headlined in Halifax a few years ago), and like always, he was fantastic. I knew IM were going to be incredible, but they still exceeded all expectations. I was on the floor, and pretty close, which is definitely the way to see them for the first time.

Found this Aces High video in the related videos.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SX_ywH65Cjs&feature=relmfu&t=100

Bruce misses his cue (he starts his verse where the guitar solo was actually supposed to start), and is obviously very embarrassed by the error.  He sort of hangs around onstage awkwardly for the duration of the solo, and then does a particularly... impressive stunt right before the second verse which I can't really describe to you here. :lol :lol

Saw Maiden last night and they absolutely tore the place down. I think the show might have been better then the 2008 somewhere back in time tour. Amazing energy. I'm not really familiar with C&C but they did play a cool cover of "Heaven & Hell".
