Sup guys.
I'm in foreign territory here. I saw IM play with DT this summer, and didn't really care for them. However, I have a hunch that it was because 1) I didn't know many songs, and 2) I'm short and couldn't see.
Someone wanna give me a basic IM tour? Three best n00b albums and stuff like that?
Start with Powerslave. Then try Somewhere in Time/Piece of Mind. If you like SiT, go get Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. If you like Piece of Mind, go backwards and get The Number of the Beast.
Then get their first two albums, they have a different singer but they are essential to Maiden's history imo. The Self-titled is an amazing album if you ask me.
Then you can pick up their 2000's stuff. Brave New World/Dance of Death/A Matter of Life and Death/The Final Frontier.
If you still want more, check out their 90's stuff. The only album from that I enjoy is The X Factor, but its a love it or hate it affair. But Fear of the Dark and Virtual XI have a few redeeming songs even if they are bad albums overall. I don't like No Prayer at all, but feel free to try it if you want.
