I don't know exactly what style it was. Not even the restaurant could tell me.  I messaged Garrison City on Facebook.

Yeah I've added a beer or two to untappd before. One was a special local brew that they brewed specifically for that bar. That happens a lot in Wisconsin. There's one at my favorite fish fry place in Green Bay now that I'm DYING to try next time I visit my parents (and after Christmas who knows when that will be).

BTW had a Stone IPA earlier, the Red IPA, can't remember the name... I'm going to have another beer in a sec because I don't plan on having one in the next day or two. I don't usually have beer before I sing, and I have a concert tomorrow and a rehearsal on Monday.

I usually get the choose your own 6 pack from a few of the grocery stores or liquor stores in the area. The one at the grocery store has more popular craft and a lot of domestic beers, and I went there this week because of all the badges I had to get on untappd. I shuddered having to get a blue moon to get that badge but at least they had the white IPA. When I don't have to get badges I go to the liquor store that has a wider selection of craft brews. Most of them are made in the US, which makes it hard to get some of the badges from other countries. If I go to World Market, it's more expensive, and their selection isn't huge, but they have a lot of international brews.

I'm having a Lagunitas Sucks. Hopefully it doesn't suck.

I recently got back to drinking Bud Ice™ for shits and giggles since it was my first go-to beer and remained as such for almost a year before I got introduced to Guinness around my 19th birthday. I started tonight with chugging two of 'em from a measuring pitcher in less than ten seconds and have been alternating rounds between good beer and lesser beer since.

It's awesome how even though Bud Ice ain't really good it still takes my taste buds right back to 1999 when I used to get my coworker, "Burrito", to buy it for me and then I'd catch the bus home concealing it in my backpack and drink as much of it as I could (7 or 8 usually) while playing Sonic 2 and 3 and then keeping the remaining 4 or 5 under my bed cuz my mom woulda killed me if I'd put my own beer in the fridge as a teen.

Lagunitas Sumpin Sumpin is, as mentioned, REALLY good also. Their IPA is on tap at the local dive. So good.

And now, gatorade. To prevent a possible headache. I doubt I get one, but it's better to be safe, especially since I need to be on my A game tomorrow.

Lagunitas is fuckin choice! First had 'em at an Opeth concert I attended with TheOutlawXanadu and senecadawg2 three years ago. Shit was good then and still good now.

Just had an Austrian Trappist beer. Not sure what to think. It's called Gregorius, and apart from the fact that it's very different from Belgian beers, this one tasted unlike any beer I've drank. There was a lot of honey like flavors in it, but it wasn't that sweet. If you like weird beers, you should check it out.

Bought a Glenlivet 12 for my boss and a greygoose for myself on my way home last night.  The bossman helped me rake in some extra cash on the side (nothing illegal, I swear) so that is my thank you and the grey goose is for my pre-game for avantasia tonight.

I realized it's been a bit since I posted here...I haven't stopped drinking, I swear!

I have been cutting back, though, mostly because the absurdity of my work situation over the last couple of hears did some bad things to my health (gained 20-25 pounds), so I'm cutting back everywhere and working out every day.  I still have a spot carved out for booze, though.  I intentionally avoid unneeded carbs during the day so I can justify a Manhattan or Scotch in the evening.  Given that a mediocre sandwich for lunch nets out about the same as a salad for lunch plus a drink or two in the evening, I choose the latter.

I'm actually in the same boat as you millahh.  I started my diet this week and last week I gave up drinking anything during the week besides water and coffee (I am not willing to give up my weekend partying though).  I need to lose weight and booze is empty calories as well as an expense that is not necessary.  So I should be out of this thread Sunday-Thursday for a bit until I get myself into some better shape.

See, here's the thing - since we're going out of town on Saturday morning, for an expensive long weekend away, we've been cutting back on anything we may normally spend a lot on.  For example, last night at Nathan's, I drank Yuengling, as opposed to, say Lagunitas IPA, since it's probably twice as much.  So because of that, I haven't been getting mix-a-sixes lately or any random six packs to bring home.  So I've been drinking a TON from the keg at home.  Pretty sure we kicked that bitch in a little over a month.  So I went with the only actual beer option I had, because I sure as hell wasn't gonna drink Angry Orchard or a Seagram's cooler.
