Teh Thirst is real.  Want to consume mass quantities.

However, given the fact that my weight is steadily creeping back to where it was 2-3 years ago, I have to make efforts to do better.  I will generally try to take M-W off, and possibly Friday.  Thursday, Saturday, and partly Sunday, it's f*cking ON!

Yeah, this is where I'm at now. In a normal week I abstain Monday-Thursday, and only partake Friday through Sunday. Don't stop myself if the occasional weekday event comes up though (e.g. my monthly homebrew club meeting on Tuesday nights).

I don't so much avoid drinking as I reserve for weekends, and usually only with company or when out to eat. I don't drink much by myself, despite my stocked bar.

God, I still can't shake the horrible memories of Zima.  Dead serious, the first time I had it, I thought Fresca had made an alcoholic variety.  It was a perfect storm of suck.

They stopped producing it here around 2008, I believe.  Truly godawful shit.  I only know because my ex used to drink it as did all the other band gfs at the time.  Makes me wretch thinking about it.

It survived that long?  I can't believe it made it past 2000...everyone knew it was shit (even by the standards of drinks aimed at sorority girls) by like 1997.

I have no idea how it survived that long.  It was really one of those things...it was...you know...the authorities said...you know...well best leave it unsolved, really...you know.

And who the hell drinks a malt beverage from a fucking lowball glass? Gimme a break, get outta here.

Or for that matter, pours a drink from one bottle while another, already open and drunk from bottle is sitting right there next to it.
