Try this company if you can find them.  I love Hill Farmstead's sours but you have to go to VT to get them.

https://www.farmhousebeer.com

Also and Sours from belgium.

I tasted a sour from Belgium once... I told her she should try douching from time to time.  :neverusethis:

#s, I think if you want recommendations on anything other than IPAs, king or 90210 are who you wanna talk to.

Beer is proof God loves us sometimes. IPAs are proof he's also a dick sometimes.

Ah, I see.

My girlfriend agrees with you. She loves them. I can't stand them and make fun of her for being pretentious all the time, which is funny because I only really drink Belgian-style ales and sour beers. I do love a good stout though too. I had one last night that was excellent while watching the Cubs game. Forget the name but will be back there tomorrow. Go Cubs!

It took me a while to get into this beer. 32 oz later, it's definitely better, but I won't be getting it again.

I just acquired 3 bottles of The Macallan 30 Year Old Fine Oak yesterday for $1500.00 each. I plan to pour a large dram for myself, and another for my son, every Christmas Eve starting with this one; until it's all gone. I'm all about having as many special traditions with my kid as I can. I hope someday some of them stick. I'd love to know that someday someone will tell his son,  "My great grandfather, Tempus, used to do this with my grandfather every year too."

So since I must now wait...I poured a glass of The Macallan 18 this evening, went out to the gazebo, built a fire and enjoyed this amazingly mild weather, while I smoked an Arturo Fuente Shark 77. I have to admit, I'm not a huge cigar aficionado. I can usually count on 1 hand the number of cigars I smoke by myself in a year. However, we entertain a lot, so I have cigars for our guests and friends, and I get cigars quite often as gifts. That Shark was really very nice and chocolaty. It went well with the Scotch.

Of course the pallet shall remain clean and clear for that "30" on Xmas Eve.  :metal

It has been important for us to have little traditions in our family. Of course none of them at this point involve alcohol.

Speaking of looking at a bottle, one thing I did was when each of my kids were born, I gave my wife a bottle of Dom Perignon. And on each of their first birthdays, we drank it. We still keep the empty bottles in our bedroom.

That's cool.  Of course, I have daughters, neither of which are old enough to drink yet, and even when they are, I doubt they will lean toward Scotch.

Nice!  I haven't smoked that particular cigar, but good cigars always go nicely with good Scotch.
