Hedge trimming and garden work today. Chicken corn soup for dinner (complete with hard boiled egg and dumplings).

Drinking a little of the Jefferson's Groth Cask Reserve.

I didn't drink anything tonight. I just made a pot of coffee though. I add cinnamon and cayenne pepper to the grinds. Starbucks has nothing on me.

I've been searching for a beer that I had about a year ago. It was a sour and when I say sour I mean holy fucking shit was this thing sour. I don't remember the name though, which makes me sad.

In trying to find it, I did manage to track down The Bruery's Tart of Darkness which I thought was ok, if not what I expected.

I think my favorite sour I've had which is also probably my favorite beer at this point is Duchesse de Bourgeon.

If anybody has any sour recommendations (flemish reds, berliner weisse, etc) throw them my way.

Edit: Also forgot to mention I discovered Three Floyd's Icelandic Pants of the Dead which is so damn good.
