The Klingon women in 5 seem too human.  Not like the Duras sister.  They are the best representation of female Klingons.

It's funny how when they do a Klingon female as a major character, they usually feel a need to water them down to half human to be more palatable to audiences. The chick Worf knocked up, Be'lanna. Ok, those are the only two examples, but that's enough.

That makes more sense. And they have a history of watering down DNA too. Spock was half human, Troi was half human, Be'lanna was half human. I watch scifi for LESS human dammit!

Only 2? I'd say Rachel Nichols from Star Trek XI, at least one of the Orion girls from the Enterprise episode Bound (there was one in particular I remember), and if it counts, Vina from The Cage. Oh, and maybe Catwoman from that TOS episode.

I've got it looking slightly better now, although it's still far from done. (and I'm not going for photorealism anyway)

Oh I dunno - the second one looks more grainy. I thought the first one was pretty photorealistic

I was a bit heavy on the grain to match the old film look of TOS. I'll dial back on that when I make the final video.
And it was a pain to try and match that overhead orange lighting, and it's still nowhere near right. But I doubt anyone will know the difference, so it's good enough.

Joe Schmoe will know in the final video, because it's going to be a parody cartoon with cartoony CG characters. I tried not to put too much effort into making the bridge accurate, but I can't help myself. If I'm going to build the Enterprise bridge, I'm going to do it right!

I was all ready to upload my new album to the distribution company and I heard a problem with it that NOBODY else would notice...

I couldn't upload it because I couldn't bear to hear it on iTunes or Spotify as an official release with a teeny tiny editing problem so I cancelled it...

..Opened the track - made the adjustment - exported the audio to the mastering software - re mastered the entire album - exported it to desktop

and re - uploaded it

I remember for one video I re-exported my whole video (took over half an hour) because I think there was one frame that was messed up. Either way it was some background thing that looked fine and nobody would have noticed, but I knew it was there.

The Director of Skyfall and SPECTRE, Sam Mendes said he was still editing the film the weekend before it was released.

Hopefully a case of utilizing all of his available time for perfection rather than being rushed to get it done! Probably cutting a frame here and there to tighten it up.

The edit for Star Trek TMP was so rushed that the director had to bring the film with him on the plane to the premiere. And we know how that turned out.

That's cool. A frame can make a difference, especially in an action sequence with a lot of fast cuts that needs to flow and maintain continuity.

Yes and the opening to the movie is a 4.5 minute tracking shot. It's quite something.

I don't think that there is that much difference from the newer Bond movies when it comes to tone. A few jokes but I've enjoyed them all to different degrees.

If Sam Mendes isn't doing another one - they should get Martin Campbell. He's successfully rebooted Bond TWICE now.

I like humour. It seems as if Skyfall started to slowly reintroduce Bond elements after stripping back to basics for Casino Royale.

If that guy did Goldeneye and Casino Royale, damn just let him run the whole franchise.
