I think this depends on the situation. The apartment I live in now and the apartment is very lax about certain things, like our upstairs neighbors being incredibly loud, but after calling almost every day for 4 weeks I finally got their attention.

I've also been on the other side of things and I was a landlord, you have to walk the line with people, some will bitch about absolutely everything.

It's nothing fancy or secretive. They're icons for some software that my friend is one of the programmers on. It's something to do with mining I think.

I was a good tenant. i kept my apartment spotless. I paid rent on time. At worst it was paid the day after it was due.

I didn't just ring up and moan about stuff constantly. I let them know if the heating or water was not working but it was never like " ffs - get over right now and do your f--in job ".

It does need to go both ways too.

I want to work a lot because I need to pay rent out of my own pocket for two months or so because allegedly thats how long it takes to get my housing welfare.

When I get it - it will be around £150 a month extra income - which will be a nice top up.

I trust him to do the job. My only issue is I have never seen him on time. At least for social shit.

It was funny how it worked. We swung by my office yesterday to pick up my bike, which I had left. We were in a hole, due to losing 2 employees.. I casually asked my boss how the schedule was going. He gave me a look of dread, and said "we're fucked!" That's when my buddy said "well what do you have available?"

One thing lead to another and he interviewed today, and is on the schedule starting Monday.

Lol...

I also just got off a call with a coworker. Until my buddy, along with 2 other new people, start, we are still fucked. I was originally going to be working 3 12 hour shifts in a row, while training people during 2 of them. Thanks to another coworker jumping in, I only have to deal with 2 (tomorrow and Saturday), and I am training people on Saturday -Monday.

It's going to be a LONG fucking week.

Yeah, the Cafe '80s. The floor is checkered lino, so it should be easy as hell to match up, but it's not lining up and I have no idea why. It's close, but not close enough for me.
