Dad just bought the Diversion 600 today as his TDM fell over and he couldn't pick it up. So he got a smaller bike and is gonna sell the bigger one

The DT-Side Chat Thread has had a long and illustrious career going back to before the start of this incarnation of the forums. Sadly, however, it has lost its former luster over the last couple of years. Several of the forum members who carried it to its former glory are no longer active posters, and it has failed to catch on with newer members.

This is a sad day, but before I lock it and put it away forever, I will give people a day or two to do any last posting there.

It's been a good ride.

I think this thread is still going to be around.

So after being the biggest Samsung fan boy I'm going to switch over and get an iPhone.

My Galaxy S - Perfect
Galaxy S3 - Great
Galaxy S4 - Suburb
Note 3 - Wonderful

I've had a note 4 now for about 4 months and it's a piece of shit. My first note 4 had a slew of problems but the most annoying one was that the main camera wouldn't focus. It was a common issue so I warrantied the phone and got a new one. It's even worse. Tons of calls go to voicemail, gps is broken, camera is still broken, messages lost or people receive 2-6 copies of the same text from me. I've tried different roms, flashes and resets and I'm done.

I'm not an apple sheep - i've had two iPhones and two iMac ( I just don't like Windows. ) - but I had a Samsung once and I really hated it. That was BEFORE I had my first iPhone.

Since I had the 4S - i've never looked at another Android phone. Same with the iMac. I hated PCs & Windows well before i'd even tried an iMac.

I hate it when people say " LOL you have an iPhone - Apple sheep fanboy ". Nope. try harder. I had a Samsung before this and I didn't like it.

I've ZERO interest in an Apple Watch and ZERO interest in an iPad.

ALSO - my phone contract is up in March next year and I have no desire to get an iPhone 6. If I stay with the iPhone 5S I have now - i'll have a ludicrously cheap plan.

Yeah, the need for a DT-side GD thread seems to have gone by the wayside. Frankly, I rarely go to the DT side period.

Love that Us Not You logo. A toll of the bell to the following - most of whom I don't even remember, and only 4 by the looks of things that still participate.

Long story short, someone on out service is going out of the country and to be able to use his phone internationally he needed to move our entire service to a post pay plan (from prepaid). Which is ok but I wasn't given any form of heads up on it. It involved migrating over to new SIM cards. T mobile started the process yesterday and we are getting the new SIMS this evening. Till then... no phone service.

Like I said... I would have been cool with it if I knew ahead of time.

Either way... just woke up. Leaving for work in an hour.

And then home at 1130am

And back up at 5 to bike my ass to work

and then there's a possibility of staying late tomorrow

because it's our busiest day of the year and we are understaffed

and if not... going to my aunt's retirement party and gonna get fuckered up

I had a sweet ride today. Set off at 7pm and went on my favourite road. About 20 miles . Cruisin at 60 most of the way as there was almost nobody else around.

I

when that happens. it totally makes up for the times when you go out and you get stuck behind a Tractor doing 20mph the entire journey.
