I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Just got some food in our bellies.  Great night last night hitting brewpubs.  Chad has this app called Uber.  People use their cars like taxi cabs and it's cheaper snd you can set it up to pay them electronically.   What a great idea!

Just got a letter saying when i bought my bike the tax wasn’t transferred so I had to tax it for a year. It was £18!!! I was expecting a ludicrous amount.

I paid by direct debit which is 12 months of £1.50 a month.

So expensive. :'D

I'm totally slacking this morning.

There was an incident last night with a drunk dude, which got physical, that my supervisor and another coworker took care of fucking beautifully. I mean... The guy going after my guys and getting tackled and thrown into the bushes... and them getting up and going after my boss, who's a martial arts instructor... he has black belts in several disciplines... and the guy got dropped without a scratch on either of my guys.


But because of this shin dig last night, nothing else got done.

Meaning I have nothing to do this morning.
