So it's definitive now - I fucking love electronic music. And this album is pretty great.

Listen to the title track. It's an astonishingly good semi-serious 80s troll song with a proggish pop ting going on underneath. I feel bad saying this, but this mock track is better than anything on the real album, for me!

Withem - the point of you  :metal. Why did I not know of this?

We'll have to thank Brent later.  I still haven't listened to the full album yet.  But will .... eventually.

I mean considering how good Devil and God is of course I'mma check out more.
On first listen, this is pretty good stuff. Probably will pick this up. Dunno if I'll like it quite as much, but.

I gave that a try but couldn't get past the production. Typical problem for me with BM.

And Deja Entendu is fantastic

honestly muddled production on black metal stuff never really bothers me 'cause the stuff I care for is all atmospheric to begin with  :lol

Listening to the album now myself. Unfortunately for Brent I'm fairly confident that this will be banned by the time my upcoming roulette starts. :lol

Yes. All of this. Into my eardrums. Please.
God, that violin is a blessing. I remember trying to listen to their first album and not caring too much for it but maybe I'll try it again after listening to this 'cause this? I need this.

My favorite from Ayreon. The songs sung by Russell Allen and Bruce Dickinson are amazing!

Right now, "Lords of Black". Just to listen to Ronnie Romero, Ritchie Blackmore's new Singer.

Plus:

David Coverdale first 2 solo records: Whitesnake & Northwinds.
Iron Maiden's The book of souls
Queensryche's Condition Human.

finishing out my streak of listening through all The Ocean albums.
everything up to Precambrian = meh
everything after = pretty good, gotta get these three

mostly I like the more dynamic side of the band, it seems, rather than the constantly heavy side  :lol

again, not sure if I'll end up purchasing this but I'm glad I listened to it. probably overall better than the Glen Hansard one, though Hansard has the best song between both albums, i think

but this is only after one listen to both, so

this album has high relistening value mostly because it's just great atmospheric stuff, still returning to this one fairly often

I find it to be quite repetitive, or not with as much variety as I'd like. Still a decent record tho.
