My gripe is that many polls - especially recently - don't inspire conversation, you open them and it's just one short answer after the other.

There's nothing wrong with the polls, they can trigger some interesting points of conversation. Although I find it amusing that everyone seems to be picking the options that are less serious. Then again, the meaning of life's in there.  :lol

I disagree. It's a poll about polls you would like, with one option being the polls about polls about polls option, so while it is indirectly related to that, the idea of the thread is not specifically about polls about polls about polls, it's just a poll about polls.

Why do those need polls? I don't like Awake because it's weak, and I love TDEN because it's awesome! :hat

There actually was a poll about me a couple of months ago. It got locked pretty quickly though luckily, as it surprisingly wasn't a very productive discussion. But it sadly validates the option in this poll. :lol

We need these polls because you've attained some form of semi-celebrity status around here for your often-unusual opinions, and there's nothing more productive than speculating on the inner thoughts of celebrities, especially while pretending that they will never find out what you're saying about them and that they are incapable of feeling uncomfortable or offended about it!
