Highest( singing): B3         Highest i can hit: D4

Unrelated - but does anyone else imitate the singer when listening to a band ?

I can manage quite a few DT songs - not the stupidly high stuff like Not intending to Eeeeend !!!!!

But I can do a pretty damn good Billie Joe impression

And it's always fun to sing Metallica---yeeaaahhh x)

My natural singing voice sounds so much like Paul Stanley's I stopped singing along to the radio with other people around.  :lol

Constantly, my 3 favorites to imitate are JLB's early stuff, John Arch and Early Geoff Tate. I can hit that range, but not consistently and the next day my voice is shot.

I don't know the proper terminology of it, but I think I got the range of a Dave Grohl (sans his screaming voice) or a Josh Homme.  Also, I surprisingly find myself nailing the vocals of some of the Permanent Waves/Moving Pictures singles at times.

I don't know exactly how wide my range is, but I think I'm a baritone. I can hit some pretty high notes, but it doesn't feel natural - I feel more comfortable singing like Kevin Moore than James LaBrie :lol

My voice is that of an alley cat being shaved by a chainsaw.

Without checking the link, typically two octaves, D to D (i.e. bass).

I'm pretty sure that I'm a high baritone. I've been wanting to take singing lessons for awhile now actually.

D is pretty low, that's some nice bass you got going there. I can just about get an E out comfortably down there, but I'm more of a baritone so F to F two octaves is more comfortable for me.

I can do chewbacca pretty well. Maybe a guttural growl of an elephant during labor. Perhaps the sound that a blue whale makes when it is ejaculating.

Maaaaybe a mediocre Chris Cornell impersonation on a good day...that's about it.

I had like 3 or 4 free lessons on my music degree. It wasn't that embarrassing but I could never get a grip of the breathing exercise.

It was : Breathe in for 1 sec. Hold for 1 sec out for 1 sec hold for 1 sec.

Repeat - but add one second each time all the way up to 10 seconds.

I could never do it :P

All the " do do do, go go go , nay nay nay, mum mum mum " stuff up and down a scale was ok .

D to D?
Is that D1?? My god... Can you put it out with volume? I mean, if you can, you can make a fair amount of money with your voice?
