Holy balls, bro. That's mad water.

Edit: I assume the plane came down correctly (hopefully).

Thankfully it did, but just because the wind blew the storm away from the airport towards the east. But still no plane could land for half an hour before the storm moved away, and the airport was flooded.

This storm was probably equal in intensity to the great storm that hit the gulf in Autumn 2008. Whilst this one lasted for some 20 minutes, the other one stayed for hours and literaly changed the landscape (one lake was somehow obliterated), wrecked towns and took lives. (aftermath https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsIYmYs0aw4 )

Today the sun shines with a few white clouds scattered about it. Madness.

Indeed. Hopefully this is the big even of 2013 and not just a prelude to a stormy autumn.

Yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhWSzY7erPA#t=106 (after the rain stopped)
:omg: It's been raining quite a lot here today, but luckily not THAT much!

I've been a bit bored lately thanks to the fact that my MP3 player died just before the move and as I said earlier I have no CDs with me... :\ I watched a movie with my roommate, but the rest of the day has mostly been spent on surfing the Internet. Sunday isn't the most exciting day to be here, I guess, but luckily I found a solution for the CD problem - I found some CD shelves with no CDs in them and my roommate said they belong to his previous roommate, but they probably don't need them anymore and I could use them :metal

I've been listening to a lot of music on the laptop, but it's pretty easy to get bored because there's no other way to listen to anything :-\

WOW that's some mad water.

Tried my workout playlist out today. It works great for weights but I need some higher-intensity stuff for cardio. Good start though! :metal

Sardinia, the island far from the continent. Those are very rare events, but the whole land is actually quite exposed to hydrologic risks, for a number of reasons I never bothered to inquire. At least in the lower half of the island very heavy rain equals disaster.

And yeah, as I said I hope it doesn't get worse too, but at least EVERYONE SURVIVED this time and the damages were not as severe as the other time (because that time the storm hit full force the slope of the mountains instead of the valley, and the water just went down from there like an avalanche). Today facebook's full of pictures and videos, in one week it will be all forgotten :D

C'mon Marco, everyone knows Sardinia. Well, I mean, everyone who likes fish knows Sardinia; it's where all the little baby sardines come from.

The funny fact is that Sardinia is actually more about fishing tuna and earth food. Plus, I don't like most seafood (besides fish).

Tuna is awesome, and salmon is even better. Although even if I wouldn't like salmon, I wouldn't say it, 'cause otherwise JP would summon a big meteorite with his awesome powers to fall on my house.
Trout is awesome as well.

I like a couple more kind of fish, but I don't know their name in Engish, so I won't bother to number them. I never tried trout, though, but I don't expect to like it. River fish is disgusting :(

I'm interested to know why Liana (assuming she likes to be called like that) knows about this little cursed island. :D

Trout is really nice. And hey, salmon are also (partly) freshwater fish. They're born in freshwater and come back later to lay some eggs. They're also of the same family as trout according to Wikipedia.

I'm interested to know why Liana (assuming she likes to be called like that) knows about this little cursed island. :D
Maybe she's a pirate and you live on a treasure island. That would also explain why it's cursed.

So it's been a bit since I've had time to pick up my bass for more than a couple of minute at a time, so I decided today was a good time to fix that.  So I ran through the first half of Roll the Bones, plus Natural Science, and now I have massive blisters on my plucking fingers (more than half the size of a dime on my middle finger).  i really need to just consistently block out 15 minutes a day...

Also, because I love geography and travel, so I watch loads of TV shows on both those subjects, and I've seen scenery shots from Sardinia. Looks like a lovely place.
