Reptiles have no glands and thus no smell.  It confuses the heck out of cats and other predators who primarily recognize other animals by their smell.  Even if they can get over that, the next way to identify something is by its movement, and reptiles have that ability to remain perfectly still, or move just a little bit and then freeze again.  This again confuses predators because their eyes are specialized to detect movement more than actual detail.  So there's this thing sitting there with no smell and not moving.  What the hell is it?!

I was not expecting such a legitimate and informative answer.

Thanks to Orbert for the facts!

I had a friend who owned a few snakes, and that was how he explained it to me.  Snakes can take down all kinds of animals, but if it's a mammal, it's particularly easy for them because most of the time they don't even register as a threat until it's too late.  A mammal will still be trying to figure out what that thing is, then suddenly its head is down its throat, game over.

I think that restaurant gif. looks staged. She starts running at the first stool before she even trips over it. It's pretty bad acting IMO......

That elevator one though.....I think there's a good chance I'd wet myself if that happened....just out of nowhere the floor disappears? Talk about a heart attack...

If the restaurant one is real, then that's one weak ass piece of glass.

First reaction to the restaurant one was it was staged.  She doesn't look that off balance or have so much momentum she can't stop herself.  Second, she whips her left elbow at the glass at the last moment.  I'm guessing it took a couple of takes to get the glass to break.

Ignoring all the physics stuff, what kind of restaurant has security cameras with that kind of resolution and framerate?

I'm pretty sure I've seen it before and it ended up being from a commercial, but I could be wrong.  Just looks really familiar to me.

Now watch as DTF miraculously rapes each gif, dissecting every second of each one, reminding us that the world is entirely fake.

Everyone knows dogs hate trampolines.
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I don't know what's more impressive, the fact he can move like that in sandals, or that sweet ride in the background.
