What's your favorite line (just one, no more) from each member of the band? Obviously it may be more difficult for JLB or Myung, but what are your favorite single lines for each lyricist?

Alright, let's try this:

Kevin Moore:
"Never been much of a doubting Thomas, but nothing breaks like a broken promise"  (Lie)

Mike Portnoy:
The whole 'Full Circle' movement of Octavarium

John Petrucci:
Innocence faded, the mirror falls behind you (Innocence Faded)

John Myung:
I may have wasted all those years, they're not worth their time in tears (Trial of Tears)

James LaBrie:
I am the believer who gives purpose unto you (Blind Faith)
Hey dude slow the fuck down so we can finish together at the same time.

I may have wasted all those years, they're not worth their time in tears.

JLB
And I'll carry on, The best that I can without you here beside me .

JP
Anything from this section:

Do you feel you don't know me anymore?
And do you feel I'm afraid of your love?
And how come you don't want me asking?
And how come my heart's not invited?
You say you want everyone happy
Well, we're not laughing.

KM
And water can't cover her memory, And ashes can't answer her pain.

MP
I sit down with my son, Set to see the Crimson Sunset.
I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

Well, I don't feel like looking for one for each band member, but I'll give my favorite line out of any DT song in existence.

"If I die tomorrow, I'd be alright because I believe that after we're gone the spirit carries on." - John Petrucci

Really hard choosing for Moore and Petrucci, I&W and Awake are full of gems

Moore: I sent the spirits tumbling down the hill
But I will hold this one on high above me still

Petrucci: Seen my diary on the newstand
Seems we've lost the truth to quicksand

Myung: I may have wasted all those years
They're not worth their time in tears

Portnoy: I'm sick of all
                  You hypocrites
                  Holding me at bay

LaBrie: Accepting the end
                I knew you were scared
You were strong I was trying

Heaven must be more than this
Where angels waken with a kiss
Everything is immaterial. Do you know that reality is immaterial? This is not reality.

Kevin Moore:
"And answer a call while you still hear at all
'cause nobody will if you won't"

Mike Portnoy:
"We can hope
For the future
But there might not be one"

John Petrucci:
"Being laughed at and confused
keeps us pleasantly amused
enough to stay"

John Myung:
"Spread before you is your soul
So forever hold the dreams
within our hearts"

James LaBrie:
"Days disappear
And my world keeps changing
I feel you here
And it keeps me sane"

I was noticing it as well. No wonder still : it's such a beautiful song, lyrics and all! Always brings tears to my eyes.

Kevin Moore: "You can have the world at your feet by tomorrow just sign on the line"
My favorite JLB lyric isn't on a Dream Theater record.
Mike Portnoy: "Seize the day And don't you cry Now it's time To say good-bye Even though I'll be gone I will live on Live on"
John Petrucci: "Sex is death. Death is sex"
John Myung: "Lifting shadows off a dream , she can turn a drop of water, into an ocean"
