The funny thing is that I saw Casey back in January and I asked him if they were recording this show for a DVD, and he was basically like "definitely not".  Then all the fans kept demanding a DVD... and it quickly went from "no" to "maybe" to "yes".

Yeah, if this is a one time deal it'd be a shame for them to not record it.

It took a while but I can say now that I really like this band. I'm happy for the ones who can attend their shows, and jealous too

So fucking amazing.

Andy Hull played with them for Red.  Cameron Thorne was in and out for various songs on Black, Yellow, Blue and some others.  And they had a string quarter for Indigo, Violet and White.  Casey sounded like he was just about ready to collapse by the end.

Highlights for me were Misplaced Devotion (crazy crowd energy), Tripping In Triplets (Cameron Thorne's vocals are god-like) and Look Away ('cause it's just an awesome song).  Uploading a few hundred pictures now that my g/f took.

Sounds like an amazing experience

In an unrelated note, I LOVE living in a medium sized city in Spain in which there is an average of ONE concert per year by any band I love

Far from Madrid and Barcelona? Since I guess some bands and artists go there. It kinda sucks living in Sweden as well. It's not all bad since I've seen several of my favorites, but Scandinavia in general is not the first place European or American bands go to, so I feel lucky every time someone comes here.

I live in Bilbao, which is 4 hours and 6 hours away by car from Madrid and Barcelona respectively, or alternatively 1 hour away by plane. I've gone to Madrid once to see DT (by car) and one to Barcelona to see Transatlantic (by plane) but it's not always possible since it requires staying overnight so it's a lot of money either way (gas & highway tolls or plane ticket plus concert ticket plus hotel room).

Here in Bilbao I attended one Opeth concert (Heritage tour), a couple of DT shows and one Metallica concert in a festival. This summer I'll be seeing Radiohead in another festival so like it said it all amounts to one or two concerts every year that I can attend.

Girl with bright red hair....yes.

That's Tara.  She's awesome.  She's from Ohio, but is currently living in Arizona.  So she flew from Arizona all the way the Boston for the show.  During Green she started wandering through the crowd telling all of us LATR people to get up after The Canopy and try to get the band to stop playing momentarily because Roman (the big bearded guy in the white shirt directly above Casey) wanted to propose to his girlfriend Kati (the blond girl with glasses to his left).  So we all did it, and it totally worked.  It was a pretty cool moment.

Casey looks tired out and ready to fall asleep.

He probably was.  I have no idea how he made it through that entire set.  He was definitely exhausted by the time they got to White.  You could see it and you could hear it in his voice.  And on top of that, right after the show ended he spent about 30 - 45 minutes chatting with fans.  This pic was taken after all of that.  We were pretty much the only people left in the building.

I agree and disagree. I guess that's the beauty of TCS. There's so much music involved that for me it contains some of their best and their worst music. I still prefer the Acts simply because I love the whole albums rather than having to pick and choose.
