Sounds good thus far.

And honestly, if you had no idea about all that has happened the last year, and then heard this, would you really guess that DT had a new drummer?  The playing sounds very much like DT.

Just finished my first listen...I love the sound of this...I can hear everyone, JMX Bass comes through loud and clean, Mangini's drums are great and he doesn't ride the frickin cymbal the whole song.

...gonna cry now....september for the rest of the ablum...

Everything after the 6:00 mark (piano solo) is fucking gold.  Before that, I don't know what to think yet.  I do like the little time signature oddities, JM's little solo, and Mangini's toms in the beginning, but the heavy stuff with the keyboards over it...I don't know, I wasn't terribly impressed by it, or a majority of the vocal melodies.  I'll be giving it about 5 more listens during lunch (lolnineminutesingles) and I'll have a better opinion on it.

Also, I liked it alright.  I think they're taking it in a good direction overall with the whole melodic thing, but the melodies were pretty forgettable.  However, I'm still excited now.  I'm also hoping for more piano work from Jordan!

That was absolutely glorious, so much more reminiscent of old DT, wow wow wow. The solo was really good, you could hear the bass, and it was incredibly proggy, especially for a first "single."

September can't come any quicker.
