Whenever I get a bug I'm surprised to see how often they jump long distances, so I have faith and am going to guess it makes it. Time is another story.... I'm gonna guess a year just to be easy.

My sis has one TB that already has travelled close to 30,000 miles: https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=888351

I also think your TB will make it one day. Really hard to guess the time... I'll say: faster than 1 year.

So I've been busy as shit today since my package arrived! 24 new containers have arrived, been stripped of their anodized coating, and have been coated in two coats of their primary base color. The break down is as follows.

Pokemon Series (6) : Diglet, Mew, Chancy, Poliwhirl, Pikachu, and, Koffing

Mario Series (4) : Mario, Luigi, The Bullet, and The Mushroom Lover

Angry Bird Series (4) : Red Bird, Black Bird, White Bird, and Green Pig

The Band Kiss Series (4) : All four Kiss members

Star Wars (3) : R2D2, C3PO, and Yoda

Sesame Street Series (3) : Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Oscar the Grouch

With the two Ninja turtles series I finished yesterday, I now have eight sets that will be available when I go live. I feel like I should have more, even if they are doubles. Your thoughts??

I honestly think I'm being delusional and no one is going to spend $30+ plus shipping on a custom series. I'm afraid I'm just going to end up sitting on these and hiding them all myself. But then again, the deli I work in charges $9.99 a pound for chicken salad and we sell close to a hundred pounds a day. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong.

Truth is, I'm not making that much money on these, especially once you factor in the amount of hours I'm putting in. I'm doing it more for the fun factor and the satisfaction of my work being enjoyed by the masses. So far I have about $130 invested. I'll be lucky to make a hundred bucks.

Chino, over Christmas, I'll be visiting my sister in Chicago.
I'm interested in the Sesame Street Series. Could you post pics when ready?

Already have an idea for a final container.  :hat

And don't be so negative. With a little promotion on some caching forums or Facebook groups, you will find customers. Like me.  ;)

I figure I'll wait till I place a cache big enough to hold it (have all the stuff, just need to place it somewhere), but I'll let you know as soon as I do.

Ready for detailing.

Nick, I'm really struggling with Mew. The problem is that it requires a head. I can't just use the container as the face like all the others. Mew's head shape is what makes it distinct and easy to recognize. Without it, mew is just a pair of eyes and a tiny mouth. I've made 3 attempts now and every one of them failed miserably :( would you settle for Jigglypuff?

Can you make the last one resemble a Master Ball?

That way I can lead people to the Master Ball and tell them they can use it to capture any other pokemon they see or something.

I think I can pull that off no problem. That's an awesome idea btw. You should put in a little tid bit about making sure its in the right item slot before heading to Cinnabar island  :lol

Or, better yet, I'll add an additional one if you can do this...

That and Snorlax.

That way I can have the first five lead to the Pokeflute, and the Flute will help lead to Snorlax as the final.

That would be awesome! My only thought for the flute is maybe making it upside down... The top of the container is wider than the bottom. It would work much better with that shape. So you are looking to get 7 containers total if I can do that? Will will be a little on the pricier side seeing as with one more container I could make two series of 4.

If you can make Snorlax and the Flute, then make Jigglypuff as well and we'll call it a full 8 or double of 4.

Got started on another cache today. I want to leave a huge trading cache out where I live seeing as there are none. I'm going to call it "You Got Mail". Inside will be an envelope addressed to geocachers. My username will be the return recipient, and the stamp will be the geocaching logo. Inside the envelope will be full sheets of paper to be used as the log. I used natural foliage to make the camouflage. The best part about this container is that it's waterproof out of the box!

Wait for it.....

Wait for it.......

Thanks guys.   :tup

As for the price, Nick. I'm thinking 65 before shipping. DT fans get a little discount. I think I'd ask 70-75 from a geocaching.com member. I should have them detailed and clear coated by Wednesday night. I'll find out what they cost to ship once I'm done.

Chino: Nice! The late addition of Snorlax might be my favorite of that whole bunch! I had a thought about something, if you would rather I send you a check to cut out paypal charges, just let me know and I can do that instead.

Nick: I'll just stick with PayPal. My goal is to just keep stockpiling money in there that I can't spend so that when I need emergency funds I have a nice honey pot  :lol I am going to have them clear coated by the end of the day and will have them shipped by Saturday morning. I'll get my PayPal info to you once I ship.

I finished the container for my "You've Got Mail" cache this morning!

Sounds good. :tup

So, here is my general plan for some of these. Diglett will be stuck into the ground somehow, Koffing will be in a storm drain or sewer grate, Jigglypuff will be in a pile of rocks (as I believe he was originally found in a cave, Pikechu will either be near large power lines or a sub station, Poliwag will be near water, and I think Snorlax will be near a dead end road with the description saying something about how road crews could not continue while there was a sleeping pokemon in the way. Clancy will hopefully be near a local game preserve as he was originally caught in the game preserve type place in the original game, and the Flute will probably be in town.

Put Chansey near an animal hospital because they always assist nurse Joy!!!

For getting Diglett in the ground, you could first bury a 6-7 inch piece of PVC pipe. Attach the cache container to a cap that caps the portion of the pipe out of the ground. When you take the cap off the cache will come out with it!!
