Scarred has really gotten the short end of the stick in live releases. OILT was the first live release of Scarred, and then MP skipped it on LSFNY, Budokan and Score because it had that release, but it wasn't even the full song. Finally we get the full song on CiM, but it's... not exactly the best JLB performance. Thinking about it that way, BTFW is practically worth the price of admission for Scarred alone.

It seems like the first set of the 2017 Budokan show is going out as a LNF release. Not sure if ACoS is on the set too or not.

Update: sorry guys, didn't see it had been posted already. But it seems like a real waste not to release ACoS.

I'm pretty sure if they cut the show intro (I think there was one) and the bass solo, the first set + ACOS could fit perfectly in one disc. I don't know if it's a matter of the rights of the recordings or anything else, if not... it really doesn't make sense.

Previously released as a Japan-exclusive television broadcast, and subsequently as a live streaming event, this recording from our modern era will be available for the first time on various formats, including vinyl, CD and digital/streaming on April 8, 2022.

WTF I preordered the LNF MAJESTY DEMOS from Century Media on Nov 26 , 2021. Still haven't received it and although it says my order is 'in progress" the estimated shipping date is now 12/25/2025 ....!!!

It's probably just a placeholder date for "we don't actually know when we're going to receive them."  My amazon order for the same release was also delayed, so I'm assuming a production or transportation delay.

Just out of curiosity, have any of you guys tried ordering from lasercd.com? They stay pretty much on top of their orders, and they're worth checking out, unless maybe you're trying to get some sort of specific colored vinyl variant.

Just out of curiosity, have any of you guys tried ordering from lasercd.com? They stay pretty much on top of their orders, and they're worth checking out, unless maybe you're trying to get some sort of specific colored vinyl variant.

I find it visually pleasing. When I play a vinyl, it is very visibly in sight in the middle of the room and colored vinyls offer a nice contrast with my black setup. And in some cases it is the extension of the packages artwork. And I have frames to display them.

Also, the vast majority of CD's have prints on them. I rarely see a disc that is entirely silver (yes, the part that contains the data obviously, but not the part you see when it is sitting in a case or player).

Same. I used to order a LOT from BurningShed, especially if their releases came with signed postcards, but lasercd has been my go-to for several years now for their low prices and cheap shipping. I got my Star One Revel In Time artbook from them and saved a TON of money by not ordering directly from Arjen's store because the shipping was ridiculous, but I did miss out on him signing the artbook (though I've gotten his signature on several other albums). But yeah, back to lasercd, I would definitely recommend them, especially if you live in the US. Never had any issues with them, and so I'd say go with them over Century Media, who I see gets more complaints from people here more and more often.

I did preorder some of the newer releases from Laser CD, but like I said earlier can't get refunds on preorders so the ones I already ordered from Century Media I just have to wait for ...

I finally got my copy of the The Majesty Demos which means that, after being into the band for nearly ten years, I've finally listened to their most renowned trilogy of songs: "John Thinks He's Randy Song," "Mike Thinks He's Dee Dee Ramone Introducing a Song Song," and "John Thinks He's Yngwie Song." And I have to say, they are like nothing I could have imagined. For one thing, the way that the titles are deftly weaved into the lyrics is just astounding.

I'd be down for that. They also had a couple other Astonishing songs and Spirit Carries On at different shows. Compile all those with ACoS and that would be a cool release.
