Jimi did indeed do the Baywatch theme, we were more of the opinion it's like the 3-4 minute montage scene setting music that appeared in most episodes depending on the story arc... If I'm not mistaken, C.J. (Pammie Anderson) was playing the saxophone on some rocks at one stage... Maybe she was playing 'Another Day'... 

Oh, well the only Baywatch episode I've watched in the past 20 years is the one with the WCW wrestlers for the sake of the hilarious badness, so I can't relate to that. I only know the theme, because it's Jimi Jamison. And the incredibad outro theme sung by the Hoff himself.

Brother, Can You Hear Me? has a certain Pink Floyd flavor in the intro and the flow of the melody.

The first minute of A Life Left Behind feels a lot like Spock's Beard to me.

The piano intro and a few melodies of Ravenskill gave me To The Moon (computer game) flashbacks.

The acoustic guitars in Heaven's Cove were like Queensrÿche meet On The Backs Of Angels, the synth/piano melody twists a little later just scream Ayreon.

To the untrained ear the differences are very subtle. the only obvious difference is the faster tempo of MOB.
