The pre-sale is just a percentage of the tickets available for the show. The main release will always have the largest bulk of tickets available.

Yes, that is correct. I called Carre about it since I also saw it was sold out. The presale is only a selection of several classes of tickets, dont worry, you will get a chance this friday.

Me calling Carre was before I got VIP (gold) tickets at the seventh row for my birthday! Hell yes, looking forward to this a lot

I'm also quite curious if anybody knows how expensive the best normal tickets are. On the tickets website it only says 65 euros and up.

Anyone bought a more expensive ticket and remember how much they paid for it?

Top price is 86.90 euros - according to Ticketmaster.nl. Cheaper than the top priced London tickets but more expensive than Paris.

I would guess the price is set by the promoter in accordance with how much the band want to be paid plus profit. I paid more than this to see Joe Bonamassa play here earlier this year.

I honestly did not expect to ever see DT in Carre. Cool to see them in our most prominent and royal theater!

From the IJselhallen (utter crap) to HMH (very good), classic 013 (great), and this (fantastic!), they have been going in an upwards direction regarding quality venues

For me it is the other way around. I have seen SX at the Boederij before, they were awesome there and I think the venue is small but very nice. And their new album is awesome, so I am sure their setlist will be better (more varied, proggy, and melodic) than during the PL/IC tours.

I got my ticket too. The balcony in the middle. A little further than I would've hoped, but looks like I'll have a nice overview. I guess it will be sold out quickly.

Okay, I was there the first second of the pre-sale and the first second today - did not manage to get tickets somehow.

Wow, did the tickets go that fast?! I think there are still vip tickets sold on the DT site (both types). Very expensive though $:-\$

Yes apparently: 1-2 minutes. But yea, there are like 1700 places so maybe we shouldn't be suprised.

I have an extra ticket for February 22nd: Parterre Left, seat 23, row 4. Great seat! But I'm going with a friend who scored tickets for the balcony so we're going to watch the show together from there (shared fun is even more fun). I would like to swap my ticket for the 22nd with someone who has a ticket for the show on February 23rd and doesn't really mind which show he/she will see. Just so I can attend both shows in Amsterdam. Please send a personal message if you're interested. I'll be putting my ticket up on Ticketswap in January if I haven't heard anything until then. I paid 88.83 euro's for my ticket and it is a very good seat!

Any one of the Dutchies who's willing to swap a ticket? I got my ticket for the Monday show, but have one extra left (great seat!) for that same show which I want to swap for a ticket for the Tuesday show, so I can witness this show twice. Please let me know.

Does any locals know of any good places for a Pre-Show meet up?
Would be nice to meet some fellow fans in a bar, listening to DT, to get in the right mood before the consert.

Any sugestions, would be much aprichiated.

I know my way around Amsterdam, and would love to do a pre-show meetup. Only problem is I'm not actually going to the show
