As it has been a while since our last pre-DT release hype here on forums, I have forgotten how long it usually takes DT to complete the post-production process. Can anyone give some insight into how long this process takes with DT on average?

Mix begins 10th of June ("Started the DT mix today!")
Mix is complete 27th of June ("And so our journey from writing to mixing comes to an end. Can't wait to share the new DT music with everyone!")
Master begins 2nd of July ("On my way to mastering...")
Master ends later in month presumably.

For further reference from ADToE:

Mix begins 3rd of June ("On my way to meet Andy and begin the mix. Beautiful day!")
Mix / Master is complete 28th of June ("New DT album is all mixed and mastered as of today.")

So the entire process takes about a month, but what is interesting are these dates:

Title and Tracklist revealed 7th of June (ADToE)
Title revealed 6th of June (DT12)

We should be getting big news pretty soon if this is going to be similar pattern.

Funny thing is, I was just talking to a buddy of mine and said that Symphony X may have overtaken the 1st place of my all time favorite band list (Underworld Symphony X is just unbelievably great). He said that was quite a statement. DT has been my favorite band for the past 15 years maybe, something like that.

I was being serious! I guess if I prepare myself for it being crap then anything slightly better should feel like a good effort. Dunno, just feel they have stagnated and lost that edge they had.

But who knows, I'm Scottish and as such crave disappointment anyway!
