This sounds exciting! If it's a double concept album, it's reminiscent of Periphery's Juggernaut, which featured a dark ficticious theme. Very intrigued to see where this goes...

OK...Interesting. This has put in my mind the possibility of it being two separate albums, released at the same time.

Would love it... this, even better than a double album, would explain better JP's quote about "It took us longer and you'll understand why".

They didn't write 100 minutes of music and therefore spread on two discs... they wrote *two albums* and they recorded them at the same time! maybe the reason is that it's a concept so they wrote the first part of the story and then they said "Well, whatever, let's write the second since we're at it", or they felt the need to make an album that sounds, well, "empirish" and one that sounds "rebelish" so they have two albums with distinct personalities.

Two albums at the same time would indeed be a "Never done before" kind of thing!

I can't stop thinking Lost Not Forgotten everytime I think of that 'empirish' direction.

hm, 'Nomac' is a sci-fi-machine like Terminator or stuff, and the empire and Rebels-logos are more medieval or  harrypotterish. How does that fit together?
I hope the music doesn't suffer from the 'concept' or whatever this is going to be.

I think it's not too uncommon to have those empire, kings, knights type of things in futuristic sci-fi novel.
There are also western sci-fis(why Firefly ), it sounds weird at first but it's cool

Woot! Bacong appearances are an excellent part of the whole DT album cycle.

Some people have said it's fantasy/GOT esque, but that wouldn't exactly fit with the static etc. Could be more a dystopian thing, which would be cool as I dig that sort of thing.
