Looking glass is brilliant. Enigma Machine just started, and I just had a sex explosion.

Stream quality is great as well, which is a relief.

False Awakening is incredible. Especially the last movement. My steam restarted halfway through TLG so i get to hear False Awakening in all its glory.

I can't type as my face is getting in the way as its melting onto my keyboard (listening to Enigma Machine)  :hefdaddy

Anyone who was doubting MM after hearing TEI and AFTR, please listen to Enigma Machine.

My first thought: I want an instrumental version of the album.
Ouch. :-[

James still has time to impress me. I've only just gotten through Enigma Machine.

11:25 Illumination Theory. You're welcome.

I raise you a 15:26 IT onwards.

No thanks. Not really a fan of any part of that outro. :dunno:

WHAT
HERESY
It's my favorite part of the album, the guitar solo with James' singing over him... goddamn.

"False Awakening Suite" complements "The Enemy Inside" really well. "TEI" hasn't sounded this good to me yet. I still want it to hurry up and get out of the way, though, haha!

noxon

Heh, once the album started streaming the amount of hits just exploded on my review as well, almost bringing down the server again...

Okay, I really need a stream that works in the US without chrome Hola so I can listen to this on my phone on my way to class.

philippaopao

That last repeating melody in FAS was really cool, sounds like something from the most recent Sherlock Holmes movies!

7StringedBeast

Listening now, and False Awakening was pretty cool, great intro for TEI.

Shine

Behind the Veil reminds me so much of Megadeth. It's weird.

edit: Well, I guess not. It changes gears a lot.

adastra

ADTOE sounds so bland after this Firework called DT12!  The Bigger Picture has great Chorus!

lyfeternl

To those who doubted MM's playing on this album, on The Bigger Picture, he says "shove it"  :metal

I thought the same thing, wasn't really that into TEI but when I heard it in the context of the album I just got it. It clicked for me.

Yeah me too!!! I'm at work and was planning on listening on my phone!!

Just got to The Bigger Picture. Holy shit this album is what I've been wanting from DT since SFAM. Concise, proggy, songs. Holy fuck. They nailed it right on the fucking head.

I know the bit you mean. I thought more TBA Metallica, although the verse vocals give off a Megadeth vibe. JLB can sound a bit like him at times, except a zillion times better.

Viking of the Sagas

YEAH, BUT WHEN CAN WE LISTEN IT IN OTHER COUNTRIES THAN NORWAY, UK OR HOLLAND?
