I'm voting!   I'm impressed with how much it has turned around.   After the first day or so, it was about 65-35 in favor of Megadeth.    So cool to see IAW has not only caught up, but is winning!!!

This is fun!

And don't think Megadeth fans aren't doing the same thing...which IMO makes this whole ballot stuffing thing fair.    The odds are even...if their fans want to do the same for them, they can.

Actually this is the first time I&W is matched up against an album I have heard, but it's still a really easy choice for me. MOP has some really good songs, but I&W is simply perfection.

But maybe we can beat them in the long run! They'll post a lot of other stuff on Metallica's FB page, won't they? Let's hope they will soon forget about the contest! xD

We shouldn't, seeing as how their fans outnumber us at least ten to one. Now that Metallica posted about this on Facebook their number of votes skyrocketed. The only thing that theoretically could put us ahead in the end is if Metallica's fans just go "oh, one of them poll-thingies, I'll click on my band and be done with it" and we actually keep voting every hour every day.

They have the numbers, we have the passion.

In the end I would be very surprised if this didn't end in a landslide victory for Metallica. DT's music goes way over the head of Average Joe.

I can't take the winner of a poll that lets one person vote 24 times a day very seriously, regardless of who wins this. Let's face it, in a poll where you get one vote and that's it, DT goes out in the first round.

You know, it's funny, even though TD is losing, I'm not seeing any, "Metallica sucks! Images and Words is way better! How the hell can it be losing!?" comments. Obviously DT fans have more class. Or I'm just not seeing all the spiteful TD fans.

They overtook us with that Facebook comment of theirs but we're now slowly gaining on them again after that initial post-announcement surge of Metallica-fans. Maybe passion really can trump sheer numbers in the end, given the nature of this poll. 

Not likely but let's not give up. The gap has decreased by about 2% these past 20-or-so minutes...
