I did not get a shipping confirmation this time around. I got one a few days after I ordered but I don't know if the tracking matches that order from a month ago or whatever.

Got 467 or something like that and I ordered right after the preorders were announced here, I'm not sure they sent those numbered copies in the order they were placed. My friend ordered hours after I did and got his copy a day earlier, we live in the same city. My guess is that they might have done the processing alphabetically, because my friend's last name starts with a "B" and mine is way later in the alphabet.

I should have been among the first to pre-order this red and gold gem but I have yet to receive any kind of shipping confirmation (other than that faulty one that was sent out from paypal right after ordering). I would have loved to have the record by Friday so that I could have MP sign it for me but I'm guessing that's not going to happen.

Check the faulty shipping confirmation. They could have pre-printed the labels.

Finally got around to opening mine, and mine is numbered 109! For the curious, my last name begins with an F, so that's relatively close to the beginning of the alphabet. Anyone with an "A" last name on here that ordered one??

I know they said for SFAM they couldn't get the company pressing the vinyl to send them in order.. so they got filled out of order. I'm assuming the same thing happened here.

Yup, I ordered Jan. 7th at 9:14 PM and my guess was that my order must've gotten me a low number because the thread was started a couple of hours before... Anyways, regardless of the number, I'm happy to have one swirl and a black version, which is the one I've been spinning.

Well I'll be damned, that old tracking number actually works. According to USPS it was "Processed Through Sort Facility" in New York on Valentine's Day. The problem is that stuff sent from the US usually gets stuck in customs here, sometimes for weeks even before they are dispatched to the waiting customer. Well, at least it's on its way which is the important part. Perhaps I'll have him sign my SFAM reissue instead (but the red and gold swirl feels so much more exclusive so that would have been awesome).

Yeah. Real missed opportunity, honestly. The front artwork doesn't look very good, and the fact that both discs are just kinda shoved in a sleave is a real turn-off. Also, no lyric booklet? I seriously hope that doesn't happen again. This disc already did cost me a LOT more than other vinyls from other bands, which came with way better packaging.
