I knew they wouldn't be able to sell too well at a place this big but I'm completely shocked at how poorly this show has sold.  If you look on Live Nation it's pretty sad to see how many seats (good seats) are still available.  I bought 8th row seats dead center a few weeks ago and there have been a couple of times since then that better seats than that popped up.  It's pretty damn frustrating.

gabeh1018

yeah man, they should be playing starland ballroom

would be such a great place to watch them play

that place can hold roughly 2500 i believe, can someone correct me on that if i am wrong

they could get away with charging roughly 30 to 40 a ticket

75,000 to 100,000

i know the band doesn't get all that but still

So pre-meet in the parking lot or what?

I'll be there at 5:30 Bill, so I'll be looking for you! Usually don't see you until either inside the theater or after the show!

Been asking myself the same (sans the beer) small enough crowd I might just bring a bedsheet with DTF meet here and hang it from my soccer mom van

cramx3

I gotta assume with the small crowd that parking in the main lot wouldn't be a problem so it shouldn't be hard to walk around and find people. I just wouldn't know what to look for so i guess a bed sheet would work. Never been to a meet up or met anyone from an online forum before.

wkiml

Nick and I will both be there and our photo is a couple of replies up

cramx3

OK ill try to find you guys but its not always easy picking people out of the crowd.

DT2003

Anyone on the fence about this show, there are seats available on Live Nation right now in the 2nd row in one of the center sections.  Makes me wish I had held out longer but I guess I can't complain with my seats.  I cannot believe how poorly this show has sold based on what Live Nation shows as still available.  I hope the band doesn't get embarrassed that the place isn't even close to half full.  Heck I'd say it's not even going to be 1/4 of the way full  :(

cramx3

Well im not sure what you mean by on the fence, but yea, the place is going to be empty which sucks.

DT2003

I was saying if anyone was on the fence about going, the seats available right now might put them over the edge.  I missed a couple of words...  must be too excited for the show and not thinking.  LOL

cramx3

Oh, yea theres definitely great seats available, the problem is it is over priced.  I've paid a lot less to be up close for DT before.  Ill be buying a cheap seat for this concert at the box office later, since it'll be empty, I figured Ill just relax in the back and enjoy the show.

This opening band is doing an amazing job of trolling the shit out of everyone in the audience.

tjanuranus

Wow what a show! I think i like this set even more than last tour.  Labrie was ON POINT!!! Can't wait for thursday.

cramx3

Awesome show, I paid 45 for a ticket in section 403 before the concert and when i got in, I was offered a ticket in section 103, 11 rows from the stage, for free.

that was really awesome of the venue to move us up for free  :metal

Also AMAZING show and a lot of good company. Heres one from inbetween bands:

7StringedBeast

It was cool meeting you all today.  The show was sick!  And it was awesome we all got moved into the same row practically.  Awesome seat upgrade!  Great set, good times.

As I Am

GREAT performance (no shock there)! :hefdaddy

Billy K, it was good to see and hang with you before the show!

My 34th DT show since '96 and it was right up there with all the others. Never have seen a bad performance from DT...EVER!

I still miss MP, but that's my cross to bare!

I hated how the security was very strict with pictures.  I moved to the back and was able to get all of Metropolis (minus the first 10-20 seconds) on video, here's the clip:

Yeah, great show!  Security were being pricks about the cameras.  I was able to get some pretty good shots with mine and could have gotten a bunch more until they came over telling me to put the camera down.  I even said to the one lady (white shirt with headset on) that my camera doesn't have a flash, and she told me that the "Band doesn't want pictures".  I couldn't believe that.  I've been a fan since 1989 and not once have I heard that one.  Then again, this is one of the first times I actually brought a good camera.  Anyway, I managed (along with many others) taken some good ones here and there.  I was on an isle seat, 6th row center stage, so security was patrolling back and forth.

sagar_k

My first DT concert!! Loved it! What an amazing performance  :hefdaddy

I was in section 103, left-center, about 10-15 rows back.
The 2 hour drive from Danbury CT was totally worth it!  :metal

Nice Pic, I couldn't believe how strict they were.

so how was the turnout?

shit poor. JLB actually made a joke saying like the venue was not very known. It was pretty funny. But i honestly dont seeing them returning to PNC unless theyre doing a festival or something.

The lower level was filled due to the event staff moving everyone up, so close to the stage looked decent, but the entire 300/400 levels were empty.  I grew up in Holmdel and my high school graduation was at PNC Bank Arts Center, and there were much more people for that.
