They're all based on past writings/literature
Almost almost there. They're not only based on literary works, but they also..

They all deal with death?
Hey, this is true, too. Many songs have many things in common  :lol

namgalsipsclar

Don't let Jamesman win, we all know what happens when he makes a tribond.... ;)

I wasn't aware that LtL's lyrics were based on anything.

They quote the works
This! Congratulations jam... oh damn!

They have exact quotes from literary works:
LTL: "there's not time for pain no energy for anger..." (Atlas Shrugged)
PMU: "oh that this too solid flesh would melt" (Hamlet)
ITPOE: a bunch.

Jamesman42

Sweet, give me some time to figure out what songs and what common characteristic
\o\ lol /o/

BlobVanDam

What's wrong with James choosing one? Is it going to be like that time I played 20 questions with someone and chose "yellow" as the thing they were guessing?

Two hours later, they were severely pissed off at me.

Jamesman42

Easy? IF YOU WANT EASY GO LISTEN TO LADY GAGA

THIS IS A PROG METAL BAND AND AS SUCH DUE TO THE NATURE OF THEIR MUSIC IT WILL BE HARDER THAN THE AVERAGE BEAR
\o\ lol /o/

Jamesman42

The Count of Tuscany
A Change of Seasons
The Spirit Carries On

This will be hard as fuck.
\o\ lol /o/

reneranucci

It wouldn't surprise me if James chose three songs where the word "forevermore" was the 18th element of a Fibonacci sequence.

Jamesman42

Yeah, it's probably that level of complicated and out there.
\o\ lol /o/

namgalsipsclar

Ok let me guess, at 3:19 in each song, Rudess plays a G sharp

They all deal with death? Trivia: every Dt song has something to do with death

Acideus

They all start with only one instrument playing?
ACOS: Guitar
TCOT: Guitar
TSCO: Piano

EDIT: Having typed that out, I noticed the song titles look very similar when abbrevated... Hmm...

VioletS16

Hmm... each title has 4 words in it? *tee hee*

Based on what Acideus said: they all have carbon monoxide on their title?

Ok this may be a little easy but anyway:

Learning to Live
Forsaken
Blind Faith

All 3 songs start with a keyboard?

Ha!  Yeah apparently I did

reneranucci

All the titles have this structure: Article + noun + compliment

Mbarak

Edit: ninja'd

Reneranucci your avatar is too distracting!

Acideus

If you take one letter of one title and swap it with one letter in one of the other titles you can get the name of another one of the songs.

e.g. swap the A in ACOS for the T in TSCO and then move the letters around.

No it's a lot more specific and retarded than that

Ok, now youre getting even more on the right track, though not quite there yet
\o\ lol /o/

Acideus

ACOS is from ACOS
TCOT is from BCSL
TSCO is from SFAM

Their respective albums also have 4 letters? I dunno.
