It's too bright man, it really makes it difficult to read without squinting. Our current theme is my favorite of all message boards I've ever been to.

TL

I'd definitely be in favor of keeping this theme (obviously artwork related things could be changed). The darker colors work better for forums in general. It's easier on the eyes.

I switch between the default theme and the light blue theme. I prefer the light blue because it reminds of the previous board before the crash. Such good times. Those were the zest of limes.

The forum theme should be purple, the background would be WDADU's album cover, the font should be Comic Sans, and the text should change color every time you visit the forum. IMO

Dream_Theater01

"The Shaman's Trance" has been changed to "Bridges In The Sky"?

Ordered my copy today, let the anticipatory buildup begin....... :caffeine:

Ordered the deluxe edition.  $100 may be a bit much, but i don't care, it's going to be amazing

lonestar

I just went standard CD, I hear the deluxe has a Myung blow up doll, true?

So obviously many have pre-ordered ADToE, but has anyone pre-ordered DT's new album, "Welcome Reality"?

But yeah, at this point, Amazon must be actively trying to be wrong.

At least the release date is sooner than 2025.
Certainly wish that could be said for the next King Crimson or Tool album..

The Curious Orange

Just gotta say I love the new album cover. It reminds me of the A Change of Seasons cover - same sort of vibe. That's all.  :corn

Not to mention an almost identical colour scheme.

YtseJamittaja

But why those animals?

TOT: Ravens
8V: Octopus
SC: Ants
BL&SL: Elephants
ADTOE: Frogs

SO what next? Leopards or skunks? Bear could be good choice.

Very special first post ;) Welcome  :D

Lumiukko

A Brazilian site described the album track by track. Maybe later I can write a shorter version of that post here.

The google translation for BMU,BMD is hilarious:

"starts with a basic pre-recorded the vocal and suffocated, "off" with echo and other effects. Has a clear accent pop with a heavy bass line and suing John Myung, referring to the root of funk. A keyboard pasteurized in the background, like "space filler", reinforces the character's pop band that ends in a chorus made for gluing ears. The music, despite the good foundation, is the best compositions. The drummer Mike Mangini rehearses some upsets here and there, but does the basics."

:lol

Referring to the root of funk.

Some of the translations are great.

"range lentil"

Far From Heaven sounds like Vacant on this review. Shame they didn't mention lyrics.

SystematicThought

Sounds like Myung has a presence on the album. And yeah, the root of funk  :lol

Sounds like those who liked the JR& JLB duet of Wither will like Far From Heaven.

Sadly though, this reviewer is gonna side with Aniland about track 5...

Don't know why I find this so funny but I am sitting here actually laughing.
