TLDR: Apple's got a patten for infrared tech that will, among many other things, shut down the built in camera when trying to take pictures of or film concerts.

It seems like there are a lot of amazing possibilities with that technology. Also, I think that not being able to photograph concerts or films isn't that bad. I mean, the band has to put out some sort of transmitter, and well if some band were to do that... It would make them pretty big douches.

I can certainly understand for museums and movies. I don't mind that at all.

now doing iOS5. This is what i'm most excited about being a first time App developer. Very exciting. One of the new features besides redone notifications is twitter built into the OS system wide. Interesting.

Have to say they haven't gotten to the music yet for iCloud and so far it's very awesome. Music is probably the thing i care the least about so i'm glad they added so much to it besides music.

Well there it was. Honestly it's better than i thought it was going to be. Was on the fence about the music thing but WOW it's really impressive and cheap. They've really taken a nice leap today. Going to buy 50 shares! I can't believe they actually pulled it off considering the music industry. I guess that 150 million dollar advance was for real.

No, as in do you have to have a previous version of OSX to take advantage of said stuff?

Well it's a download through the mac app store now. So if you have a mac it's one click. For 30 bucks you can put it on 5 machines. Just click on it on that machine and it will install automatically. If you don't have a mac and buy a new one it will be pre installed.

Well there are over 250 new features and enhancements. It's not an under the hood release like 10.6 was. This is a feature and under the hood osx release. 10.5 was 129 dollars for reference so this price point plus 5 machines is insane.

Looks like they are keeping the Siri stuff for iOS 6. Smart. Also the new keyboard enhancements for iPad are very intuitive.
