Parama...East Of The Wall-False Build
So False Build was the perfect title for this track. For the first 3:20, instrumentally this was very good. In fact, I was starting to think this might be an instrumental. And then Bam! out of nowhere come some of the most hideous vocals I've heard in this roulette. Why does any band think this is necessary?

Shadow Ninja 2.0...Landon Tewers-Findlay
Ninja, I appreciate the submission, I really do. But I could just not get into this. Perhaps it might have been better suited for Round 7 (the acoustic round) where it would likely sit more comfortably amongst the other tracks. I gave it a courtesy third listen, but I found myself skipping it.

home...Porcupine Tree-Trains
So I am not a Porcupine Tree fan. From what I've heard, I find Wilson's vocals snooty and smarmy. But on this track, he's really not annoying. It's a nice enough track. It isn't bad. But nothing really stands out to me. Seems like a safe choice. Maybe too safe.

Tyrias...Strawberry Girls-Aqua Verde
I must say when I saw the band name and title, I was like WTF is this. Once it started going though, musically, it's pretty neat. Definitely could've done without the female vocals. Then the track gets interesting musically. From 2:36 - 3:25 is great, but this track needed to end around the 4:00 mark. It gets repetitive for a minute, and then the song blows apart in the last minute. WTF? Why?

Train Of Naught...Artificial Language-Unself Portrait
For some reason, perhaps because of the title of the band and track, I was very curious about this. I actually liked it. The singer sings in a Freddie Mercury style. I mean, he's not Mercury, but this track has a Queen like feel to it. And I like how the guy just goes for it.
I would've liked a more ballsier last minute, but for the most part, this was fairly enjoyable.

Tomislav97...Katatonia...Old Heart Falls
I found this song interesting. It was easy on the ears. I didn't not like it. I'm glad it was only four and a half minutes. I definitely couldn't have taken 8 minutes of this, but it was compact enough. A solid track. A pretty decent tune. I might check something else by them if anyone has some suggestions...Looking at you Wolfking.

Sacul....Nine Inch Nails-Head Like A Hole
This is by far the last band I was expecting. I must admit that this is the first NIN song I've ever heard. I would probably say that this might be more interesting if I were watching it. I thought they were more industrial than this. But it had a punk type chorus, but for me, this track is devoid of any melody or hook. I mean, it's probably their style, which is likely a reason I'm not into them. This song also seemed a bit simpler than I was expecting.

The Silent Cody...Sevendust-Denial
Cody..I'm sorry man. Sevendust just does not do it for me. Similar to NIN, they probably rock the shit out live, but from what I've heard, their songs are rocking, but they just don't pull me in with anything. They are just so melodicless (is that a word?). I know they are popular, but they are just not for me.

LordCost...Caligula's Horse-Dragonfly
So I complimented Katatonia for not going to nine minutes. This song, felt a little long. The vocals were extremely underwhelming.
I definitely liked the solo from 4:40- 5:30. At 7:25, you get a monent of full band and it and then again a few moments later. That should've taken it to the end of the song. But while the last minute rocks, I needed that kind of energy earlier in the song.
