I hate trying to troubleshoot network bullshit. I have a computer downstairs running Vista and one upstairs, running 8.1. It's set up so that if I'm downstairs, I can move stuff to the upstairs computer across the network, just fine. Upstairs, it WILL NOT find the downstairs computer. It's listed in the available computers on the network, but it says network path was not found. I have no clue how to correct the problem except to say f*ck it, and stop bothering.

I never had Vista, but I've also had issues getting different versions of Windows to play nicely with each other over the network (especially XP and 7). I'm just glad they're currently all running the same version.

Yeah, yesterday was bonkers. The bar was really cool about letting everyone pop a bunch of our own bottles. To be honest though, they would have been so far behind on beers if we all could only buy what the bar had that it was probably a good thing for them too.
