Pretty good. Just got done doing my studying for the day (I'm writing two exams on the 29th and the 30th), so now I just have to head out and do some shopping and then that's done everything for the day. As chilled as that is, I'm actually pretty ready for uni to start again, really looking forward to that.

Just finished my first year of Physics, and it's challenging, but oh so worth it. I actually sort of accidentally started studying it - I actually wanted to do Chemistry, but the time window for the application closed earlier than I thought it would, so I thought I'd do something close to it for a year before switching, but know I can't imagine studying something else because Physics is just so darn fascinating.

Hi guys. Heading back from lunch. We got some good observations at the sight. We are working on setting these visual checklists for our employees at our site. Then I get to tweak and train other sites to this process.

I only worked an hour today. It was meant to be a 2 hour shift - just to close down and clean the kitchen but the builders are in so I did the bare minimum and then left.

No point sweeping up and mopping the floor when they're just gonna mess it up again.

I'm having a very frustrating week at work. Making me think once I get my new certification from my training in Atlanta, it's time to update my resume and look for something better. I haven't stayed in one position for this long (2.5 years) since graduating college and I'm getting that internal burning that I need to move on to something better and more fulfilling again. Luckily I am off tomorrow so I can cool down a bit, because I feel really worked up about how my coworker gets treated way better than I do while I do more work and clean up all his mistakes and he does little and gets paid more thanks to being the boss's best friend. Also he steals all of our business travel which he stole a trip to LA next week from me that I really wanted. Business trips are a nice paycheck due to the OT and free meals, which I've been severely missing out on this year.

Damn, that would be frustrating as hell! What profession are you in, if you dont mind me asking?

IT, Data center technician for an online ad tech company. Really would love to get into a more design/engineering or management position which my new cert should help with. Once I confirm I passed (no reason why I shouldn't especially since I was boozing with my teacher after the last class

) then it's time to update my resume and see what's out there. Honestly would love to get a job with better pay and less hours ideally (who wouldnt?). I'd drop some of the really nice perks this job has to move up the ladder somewhere else.

Ah, ok, well good luck!! I have a handful of friends right now who are feeling stagnant and wanting to move up the ladder or just entirely out of the profession they're in. I like what I do but it's becoming very predictable so might have to look into doing something part time as well to shake things up a bit...
