Morning, Reap!  I rooted my old Galaxy phone last night. Now it's loaded with Kali Linux and other hacking/pentesting apps.

I've had the same iPhone 5s for 3 years now - not cracked it once and still works perfectly.

Because I used the same phone for a contract upgrade - my tariff went down to £11 a month instead of £40+

If I get a new phone next time it will probably be the 5se as I don't like the slim slippery shape of the 6 & 7

I have an iPhone 6 and I carried it without a case for a long time and I remember it being so damn thin it was tough to handle.

I have to go to the DMV today because I need to renew my registration on my car. I've been renewing it online for years now except this time, this time they say I don't have insurance on the vehicle because my policy number has a 0 whereas the DMV has it saved an o. They couldn't change it over the phone.

I was a huge samsung fan. I had the Galaxy, S2, S3, Note 2, Note 3, Note 4. It was the note that fucked me. I went through 3 Note 4s that were all lemons, lots of hardware issues so I said fuck it I'll try an iPhone. I like it, it's different but it works well. I'm going to give the new Note 7 a shot, I can return it within 14 days if I don't like it in that case I'll go iPhone.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's overheating.

I remember the iPhone 4, one blew up and took out some guys ear and that was because the phone was over heating. I believe that's when they updated the software to shut the phone down automatically if it gets too hot.

Anything with a battery in it has the potential to explode under the right conditions. It happened a few years ago with some Dell laptops, it's happened with plenty of phones before too. You'd think they'd be more careful with this sort of thing given the liability.
