First part of the company meetings went well. I also found out yesterday that I will NOT be traveling to Boca in October to help with our 4-day Summit and I could NOT be happier. That is a huge relief.

I've never gotten to travel anywhere fun for work, just a week in Columbus Ohio. I was supposed to go to Dublin for a week at one point, but that trip fell through at the last minute.

While in theory, traveling to Boca on the company's dime could be fun, the reality is it will be 4 18-hour days, constantly setting things up, running errands, breakdown and setup of tradeshows, assisting guests, etc. I am not cut out to be in the front lines. Behind the scenes I'll work til I drop, but when I need to interact with others, especially strangers, I'm useless. Traveling might be nice, the required work would be torture, for me.

I'd much rather stay behind and man the office.
